Arrived on the Friday evening great open coal fire in the lounge entrance, greeted at the reception by a lovely pleasant and helpful receptionist Anthonia. Bedroom clean warm and spacious, good service from the housekeeping team, on the whole a very enjoyable stay.

Yea read some rubbish reviews about this hotel but all unfounded yea it's fairly dated but staff very friendly rooms basic but clean tea making facilities loads of hot water shower very powerful entertainment brilliant food spot on especially breakfast would deffo stay here again if I was in this area 😋

stayed for long weekend 5th to 8th nov room only room235 new carpet fitted and room emulsioned and probably the cleanest bathroom of any hotel we have stopped in also room ret hot with thermostat on radiator to adjust. On the downside this old girl of a hotel is starting to look a bit shabby with view from our room possitively dicensian other backyards ect but that is not hotels fault soto sum up we enjoyed our stay and will go back sometime
