No photos can really show how beautiful the interior design is in this hotel, with many Beatrix Potters references ( due to its history) it really was a unique stay. We stayed for our anniversary and a birthday just before Xmas. The staff could not be more professional, covid safe and accommodating. They really made our stay special. We also booked a special 4 course meal one evening and enjoyed a tasty breakfast each morning, the food was incredible. This is more a 5 star hotel in my opinion, we had a flawless experience. Even though we couldn't order drinks from the bar (Tier rules) the staff were more than happy to provide ice baskets so we could have a drink in our room, and also arranged breakfast fizz for my partners birthday. The reception staff gave us advice for walks and places to visit. The hotel is situated about 15 min walk from Bowness town, where you can hire boats and take ferry's around the lake. The hotel gardens are restaurants are stunning, there was a wedding taking place there during our stay. They have set covid rules in place with one way systems and the rooms are fogged for peace of mind. We really could not have asked for a nicer place to stay and would reccommend to any couple wanting a romantic trip away!

Despite feeling apprehensive about visiting an Hotel during current restrictions we need not have worried. The management and staff could not have done more to make us feel safe and made our stay most enjoyable while following all the guidelines. Everything was wonderful. Friendly professional staff, comfortable room and excellent food. We have stayed here before and hope that we will be able to return in 2021.

It had been a good 4 years since we last stayed at the Lindeth and I have to say this was the best yet. Since we last stayed there the place has had a change of decor and it looks very nice, not that we thought anything was wrong before. Everyone we came into contact from the lady on recption to the bar and resturant staff were all very friendly and professional, we were made to feel very much at home. The food was the best we had eaten for a long time and this in itself would be worth a visit if you live locally. Breakfast was again lovely. We stayed in the Potter Room which was lovely everything you need in a room and as you would expect it was spotlessly clean. If you are in the area and want to stay in a hotel with charachter, friendly staff and top class food then this is the place for you. We will be bcak soon.

Absolutely perfect night away, from walking in the front door reception staff made you feel very special and fully explained the COVID rules in the hotel! Room spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the champagne I ordered was chilling nicely in the room! The food and drinks in the restaurant were excellent and the waiting on staff very attentive and really friendly! All the staff were a credit to the hotel and we will definitely be returning!!
