We loved our stay here - beautiful location on the estuary, lovely terrace and comfy rooms. Friendly service and incredible breakfast - easily catering for gluten free which was much appreciated! A little room for improvement - the terrace needed a clean up, nettles growing in plant pots etc. Restaurant clearly short staffed with long wait for breakfast on the second day. I’d also expect the bathroom to be better kept at this quality of hotel - grout had come away in the floor, tiles cracked, and tap difficult to use. But none of this would stop us coming back - just small things I hope can easily be resolved! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed three nights at the Old Quay and loved the hotel. The location is perfect on the waterside with a lovely terrace for drinks and meals. Our room was modern and well furnished and the food both dinner and breakfast excellent. The staff could not have been more helpful. Our only negative was that our room faced the street and had Venetian blinds which meant that the lights from the shop fronts shone into our room all night. We think this room should have heavy curtains

Excellent hotel right in the centre of Fowey. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sleep was a little disturbed as we were in a street facing room and there were a few late night revellers who were a little loud on their walk home. The room was lovely and had all the extras one would expect. Breakfast was great. Thank you.

Room was comfortable enough although window catch was broken. Breakfasts were lovely but dinner choices very limited. Literature stated that local produce would be used but a choice of only four mains, two of which were fish - hake and cod left a lot to be desired. This did not change during our stay. Parking was paid for by the hotel BUT a 10 to 15 minute walk away. Somewhat overpriced for what we got.

Fowey is a lovely town in a wonderful location. In the middle of the town sat right on the waters edge is The Old Quay House which is a beautiful oasis of calm. The entire property is tastefully renovated especially our amazing room overlooking the estuary. You could sit for hours just watching the activity on the water. The staff are very friendly and attentive and couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming. We had a lovely stay and are already looking forward to our next visit,
