I ate the bar in the early evening. Menu was fairly typical pub fayre. I ordered the chilli burger which came with all the trimmings. The chilli was quite hot especially along with the jalapeños Service was good, staff friendly & efficient Would definitely recommend

The locally caught haddock was delicious and served with perfectly cooked chips. Great locally sourced food. Try the locally brewed pale ale 'Banyan' - light, crisp and floral. Perfect for a warm summer evening. Friendly service. Don't let the lacklustre decor put you off.
