Me and my wife stayed at the wrea head hall hotel for the first time as a reccomendation from our friends to meet up and stay for 2 nights. Let me start by just saying the hotel was booked for us by another couple also staying so from instantly arriving at the hotel we were both made to feel welcome and special. We were checked in by Matthew at the desk who couldn't be of any more help regarding parking and everything else. Our room was a first floor room and as there was no elevator our luggage was kindly offered to be carried up by for us by lee. We enjoyed an afternoon in the bar area and even saw the local deer. Everything was flawless from the clenlieness of our room to the magnificent meal served to us by the obviously talented chefs and professional servers. Marian from the dining room was very efficient and also very pleasant. We had many of laughs and conversation in the bar with Lee mainly and Matthew also whose knowledge in wines was outstanding. We sat with Lee again in the bar until late were we learnt a history of the building his knowledge was brilliant and very professional along with a lovely conversation. We want to thank wrea head and their owners and all the staff for an unforgettable stay. WE WILL BE BACK (P.s this is my first time on trip advisor we was recommended in conversation using it by the couple we were staying with as they do also. So there's no better place to start with than wrea head.)

Hotel's Favorite
We went to Wrea Head Hall to celebrate my 60th Birthday. What a truly wonderful experience we had. We had booked into Room 1, which was exquisite. Every little detail was just perfect! We were given a complementary cream tea which was served graciously with a smile by Marian, and later we were served one of the most delicious meals I have every tasted at dinner. So much so, that we asked to meet the chef, Andrew. It was superb food! The staff went the extra mile at every opportunity. Lee, with boundless energy, who served us champagne under the stars & was a total joy: Caitlyn with a ready smile on reception: Evie who served us beautifully at dinner... the list goes on. Kevin, the General Manager can be justly proud of his team. They really are top notch. We met & thanked Gerry & Mark, the owners who were lovely & have obviously invested heavily in this glorious hotel. It shows! If you want to experience the best, book Wrea Head Hall. It was the perfect place for us to celebrate & we shall certainly be back. Thank you all so much x

Great to be back after the Covid enforced break, and its always a pleasure to return. The hotel is superb, Kevin runs a great team, and he always gives a warm welcome. A place to totally unwind and have everything taken care of. Great food, with a decent wine list and then off to a very comfortable bed. Superb !

We stayed here for the weekend and stopped in one of the Suite's in fact room 34. We had a fantastic time, the food was amazing, the accommodation was beautiful and the service from everyone at the hotel was to a standard that all hotels should strive to achieve!!! There was nothing that was too much trouble and everyone knew not just their job but what needed to be done elsewhere. We have stopped in many high end places and this hotel is the best one we have stayed in and we have already booked a return visit and I'm sure there will be plenty more to follow. Just wanted to say a huge thankyou to everyone for making our stay special and especially Matthew and the gentleman tending bar as they were great company and made excellent recommendations. Thanks again and can't wait to come back soon, Mr & Mrs Borrett
