Staff helpful, room v clean, air con works well, double glazing. Not in best area, like is says on tin, but quiet and safe. We use Premier inn for work because you have cleanliness, parking and air con. Plus desk. Bathroom clean. Room not over-spacious for couple, wardrobe and desk space tight. Car park over road, safe and enough room, and you can load for 2 hours outside hotel in private car park area. Worked well for us.
Welcomed by friendly staff, check in was quick and simple. The room was perfect, everything was immaculate, no dust im sight. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was in perfect working order. Car park was free and there was many shops next to the hotel.
I genuinely will book Travelodge next time, the rooms might not be so nice but at least I get decent service there. Booked three nights here and will never stay again and probably won’t book premier inn ever again after awful service at their other slough branch too. First night no towels in the room, was treated like I was lying, eventually got one set of towels for me and my wife to share. Second night decided to try the restaurant, we wanted to eat in our room, we were told that would be fine, so they asked for our room number and said take a seat and they’ll bring the food to the table then we can take it to our room. So they brought the food over, went to take it back to our room and a Polish waitress literally shouted even though she was stood about 7 feet away “oi, you’ve not paid for that yet” I said sorry I thought you added it to the room, she continued to shout and shouted “no, we don’t do that here, you must pay now” another waitress hurried over with a chip and pin machine like I was actually about to try and screw them out of £26. So we took our food and drinks to our room, the food was okay in fairness. The last night we decided we would get a takeaway in, but fancied some drinks from the bar, I ordered drinks while my wife got the takeaway from the delivery guy in the foyer, the barman asked to see our ID, I’m 32, I said he’ll have to wait 2 mins for my wife’s ID as she is getting the food, she came over and shown her ID (she’s 26) he then spent 15 mins doing other things despite having poured my pint which was now going warm behind the bar, he eventually got my wife’s magners out the fridge then said, “you must sit here and drink them, you can’t take them to your room” which is utter BS because no hotel ever has an issue with taking drinks back to the room and we were fine taking drinks and meals to our room the night before. I told him he can stick the drinks and walked off. Tried to complain to the manager and he pretended he didn’t speak English, I can’t get over the immaturity of the staff here. Will never use premier inn again until they rectify their awful customer service …
Excellent experience in these Covid times; we felt comfortable that all appropriate precautions were being taken. Room was everything we have come to expect from numerous Premier Inn stays if not better. Location ideal for visiting Windsor area.
Lovely stay, clean and friendly..comfy beds!!!Bonus of free parking, social distancing measures were being followed..The Breakfast was really nice, cooked well;Chef forgot our beans but we indulged in a Pain au Chocolat to make up for it..
