Principle issue with this hotel is location directly on a main road and will only get louder post covid once the night club opposite reopens. We stopped here on the way to the Scottish Highlands. Parking in the car park was free, check-in quick and friendly and COVID compliant. We had a good overview from staff on one way systems etc. and felt safe. Lots of sanitiser aroud the hotel. Great location and for the price a great stay. Room was spacious and clean.

Stayed at Ibis Carlisle as a stop over on the way to Blackpool. Staff at this hotel are fantastic we had a lovely evening in the bar area and had a lovely meal. Hotel totally covid complaint and felt totally safe. Breakfast although a bagged breakfast had everything needed. The hotel is clean and well maintained we had no issues during our stay will definitely use this hotel again!!! Well done!!!

Cheap and clean hotel, The hotel is in an amazing location, next to lots of restaurants and bars. Friendly staff and covid-19 safe. Lots to do in the area, I would recommend a visit to the castle too.

We had stopped overnight in Carlisle, after weekend in Dalbeattie and both very different. From peaceful to bouncy. Ibis super value and you get breakfast in a bag: very Covid aware. Continental breakfast was plenty. Room comfy and not noisy despite facing main road. t tray n kettle in room. soap dispensers in shower room. Staff welcoming and friendly. Parking free behind hotel; once u check in.
