Built in the imposing Victorian style of the resort’s seafront, this handsome hotel boasts stunning views over the Irish Sea. Lazy days can be spent on the beach or pier, shopping for souvenirs, visiting the Alice in Wonderland Centre or taking a tram ride up The Great Orme, whilst numerous sporting pursuits are on offer locally. There is limited parking in the guest car park located behind the building but street parking is usually available nearby. For a break away discovering the very essence of North Wales - a region renowned for its beautiful coastline, Celtic heritage and the grandeur of Snowdonia - you could not be better placed than in Llandudno, at the Marine Hotel.

Having read other reviews on here I entered Marine Hotel with slight trepidation , however my fears were un founded. Pleasently greeted , my room 225 exceeded my expectations ,, recently refurbished , newly refitted bathroom , and clean bedding and towels . My only complaint being the state of the carpet , cleanish but tatty . Breakfast , hot and cold choices from buffet . All staff were friendly and helpful public areas clean and tidy . In all a pleasant stay , and I would be happy to book again

Worst hotel I ever stayed in, had booked a parking space which you had to pay £6/night payed for this on arrival but when I tried to park no spaces were available. Stayed 4 nights half board the evening meals were sparse with only 4 choices of each coarse some of these choices were changed every night due to shortages, breakfast was buffet but regularly run out of several items one morning there was on orange juice due to issues! Said there was a pool but this was closed every day, said there was regular entertainment but only had 1 evening with entertainment. The rooms where not cleaned once during our stay if you wanted clean towels you had to ask also had to go to reception for tea, coffee and milk had to ask for toilet rolls and carry them to your room. Bar staff and waters where very nice but run off their feet one lady on reception was bordering on rude. On checkout I payed my bill in full but when I got home I noticed that the hotel had used my card details to take a further £1432. without my knowledge or permission, after several phone calls and emails had no joy about getting the money back my daughter phoned the hotel and threatened she would call the police before I eventually got the money back.Llandudno is a lovely resort but chose a different hotel.

Where do i start when we booked we werent told we could book for parking so had to park over a mile away. The lady on the reception seemed abrupt and very rude we asked if there was anywhere we could grab a coffee the answer was NO. We left and came back to check in my mother is disabled and in crutches the lift access was accessible but still had to climb many stairs which was very hard for her. Dont get me started on the bedrooms the walls were shocking so dusty and dirty see photos i was shocked. The toilet roll was like grease proof paper very unpleasant to say the least. Bar man was lovely and lady with blonde hair was very helpful. Breakfast wasn't the best the sausage were white and had to ask for toast a few times. Very disappointed with the hotel and we wont be returning

This was the worst hotel my family have ever stayed in. Was awful from start to finish. On arrival asked about the parking space we had paid for ( yes you actually have to pay to park). Although we had prepaid, we were told there was no parking space available. To add to this, the woman on reception was nothing short of rude. Arriving at the room, I was shocked at how filthy they were, grimy tiny shower, thick dust everywhere, filthy carpets and tired paintwork. No service on rooms, had to request clean towels and go to desk to ask for toilet roll (embarrassing). There was no information given as to how to go about this, we had to guess. The indoor pool was closed with no valid reason as to why. The hotel were greatly understaffed although the majority of them worked so hard, very long hours. The only staff we had issue with was the woman on reception who continued to be, let’s say unhelpful the whole time we were there. There were many things unavailable, very limited beers, menu choices unavailable( there were only 4 options available to begin with) One morning even had no orange juice!! After we left, we discovered they had taken card payment for the hotel and then taken a further payment in error for over 1000.00. It took approximately 10 phone calls to rectify this, only when they were threatened with the police did they refund it! Truly awful place, I would advise you strongly to give this place a miss.

just back from this hotel, first the good bits, staff, what there were of them were brilliant, worked extremely hard under the circumstances especially the bar staff.every hotel is short staffed.the breakfasts were brilliant every thing you wanted with many staff on hand but where they all went in the evening is any ones guess.the bad bits.no maid service, the excuse was covid, not allowed in the rooms but you could exchange towels.the rooms were ok but the bathroom such as it was baffled me,the toilet was actually under the hand basin you had to be under 3ft.to use it,the shower was adequate if you were also a small person.now the really serious issue was the evening meals, 2 sittings,6.30 and 7 30.we could'nt get 6 30 so had to have the later one so it was around 8 00.before you got your meal,i say meal the 6 30 sitting had most of it.when it came to our sitting there was hardly anything left for us possibly 2 choices if you were lucky.on the second night there was barely anything left, there excuse was they could'nt get deliveries due to the shortage of truck drivers but other hotels seem to manage.the restaurant manager was very apologetic but that doesn't put food on the table.the upshot was we had to eat out every night at great expense when you have paid for half board.in short,we will never stay here again which is a shame as you could not fault the staff.
