The room offered no view and the floors were very noisy when walking on them. We could hear guests upstairs moving chairs or beds around(?) at all hours which was noisy. The room smelt of wet dogs on the first day but this was resolved for the remaining days. It has a good central location in luxembourg but the area itself is quite dodgy and would not recommend women travelling alone to stay in this area. We didn’t get replacement water after we drunk ours but the hotel staff were friendly and the atmosphere in the lobby was nice and welcoming.
Beautiful, historic and charming hotel in Luxembourg close to the train station (about a 15 minute walk from the old city center). The hotel is delightful, very clean, and tastefully decorated. The staff are lovely and helpful. The beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious, and I was elated we had a fan available to us (already placed within the room) as it was quite hot while we were visiting. We would definitely stay here again, this place is a gem.
The rooms were a bit small, but they were absolutely okay. Everything was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, not far from downtown, very close to the train station, but in a rather quiet area. We came with a mini bus and had to park it very far away because there is no parking around but for cars.
Beautiful hotel with exceptional decoration, actually I’d say than more than being “decorated,” this hotel has been “curated.” The staff is very professional and kind, the place is not super clean and very well located; I’d you get a room with a street view it’ll be some noise, but nothing unbearable. Breakfast is more than generous, and they offer a broad kind of additional services.
A friendly receptionist and a well sized clean room in the city center. Unfortunately, the hotel is located in a bar street close to the train station, where hords of loud drunken people passed through until 5 am. Don’t take a room facing the street
Shady location - parking is awfull - small rooms - the floor makes insane noise every step you take - paper thin walls - no sleep - bugs in the room. The only good thing about it was it was only for one night.
My boyfriend and I stayed at hotel Perrin for a week. The room was clean and I highly recommend the breakfast. But the highlight was Gianni, a hotel employee who welcomed us at the reception and at breakfast in the morning. He was an amazing host, and he made us feel very welcome. The effort he puts in his job is unmatched, and if we ever find ourselves in Luxembourg, we will certainly return back to this hotel, if for no other reason, then at least for Gianni :) - Alex
Clean, quiet and a good bed! All you need for a stay in Luxembourg. Friendly staff as well. We stayed there for a weekend and we made a mistake with our booking. They changed it for us without any problems. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train Station.
The Perrin is ideally situated in the outskirts of central Luxembourg city, which makes it a peaceful stay. We were very pleasantly welcomed by Gianni, who was attentive to our needs and suggested places to eat take away (because of the pandemic). Their choice of wine is exceptional and the bottles are of premium quality for the price. The bedding is nice and comfortable, and the beds feel very luxurious. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back.
Had a lovely 2-night stay at this hotel. It is very tidy and organised. Kudos to Mr. Giovanni who welcomed us and made sure that we are not missing anything. The atmosphere is great and the antique furniture makes it extra special! ♥ A good value for money 💵
