Welcome to the charming and refined "Palais LeBrun", an authentic sixteenth century Baroque palace where you will live like a Knight of St.John. You will enjoy the privacy of this quiet 2000 square metre palace comprising 28 luxury rooms, a rooftop terrace with pool deck, a fitness center, and a meeting room. This palace, which offers luxury, comfort, modernity and traditional sixteenth century Maltese architecture, is a true invitation to travel another way. The hotel also ha an annex available for private dining or confidential meetings, a space we also sometimes use to host local Art Exhibitions. You can access 'Palais LeBrun' by car although it is located right in the heart of the historical area of Valletta, only two blocks away from the central square.

Palais Le Brun captivates guests with its serene charm, offering a tranquil rooftop pool and rooms steeped in history. The hotel's commendable service, noted for staff's exceptional attentiveness, pairs with the overall cleanliness to create a welcoming environment.
While the rooftop pool and diverse breakfast options enhance the experience, some guests have mentioned limitations in bar service. Nevertheless, the prime location near Valletta's attractions and the hotel's spacious rooms provide good value, despite minor concerns regarding room size and additional charges.

Beautiful hotel, with easy walking distance to everything. The staff are all lovely and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful, we were upgraded to a larger room/suite - we were through a little courtyard (think it was room 2 or 3) and then up some steps, the rooms were large and cool, we overlooked a pretty little walkway (I think it was over the restaurant down in the cellar/ground floor - but there was no noise from it all). The rooms were lovely, pretty furniture - antique inspired, cool, not a lot of natural sunlight - but this was expected as we knew that many of the rooms had windows with little sunlight due to small alleys/close houses etc - we didn't want one of the rooms with sun and a private balcony as we knew we had rooftop pool for the sun! The lighting in the rooms and bathroom was excellent. Very large and comfy bed with luxury linen and plenty of room for clothes in wardrobe and space for toiletries etc. Hall/sofa/TV room - good place of chilling out, kettle & coffee machine provided, well lit with a good full length mirror. Bathroom was large and bright, good sized powerful shower. Breakfast is downstairs ground/cellar - it gets busy at peak times, but there is plenty of food available, there is a good cold buffet and also a hot menu made to order - great choice and arrived quickly, Service is excellent, there are lots of waiting staff to assist. Roof top bar and pool - perfect to come back to after a day walking around sightseeing. The pool is small - but it is all you need. We didn't ever have a problem finding a lounger - but we did tend to go out very early and come back to snooze by the pool mid afternoon. There are chairs by the bar area. Bar menu is good - pricey compared to local bars - but in our experience a roof top terrace always is! View is good, although of course obscured by the many cranes of Valletta which are everywhere!! Breakfast area - a little more air con - even with the doors open there isnt a lot of air (its cellar/ground floor). The breakfast area is a little crowded at peak times, but there was plenty of food and it was restocked on the buffet table regularly. We went before it got busy - we like to get out early.

Comfortable and quiet location in the heart of the old town, in the heart of old Valletta; comfortable boutique hotel of 39 rooms and suites in a beautiful Baroque palace of the sixteenth century that was once the residence of the leader of the Knights of Malta and later of Borg Olivier, Prime Minister of Independence of the island. The room - with classic furniture and marble floor - is large and bright, comfortable bed with double pillows, spacious bathroom, wi-fi and USB sockets on the bedside table, kettle and espresso machine. For the duration of the stay the daily cleaning was thorough, the wipes always in perfect numbers, the pods and sachets meticulously replaced. A rich breakfast buffet is available, with the possibility to order special sweet and savoury dishes Ă la carte, including Ftira and Pastizzi Maltese. It also has a small fitness centre and a rooftop rooftop terrace with an outdoor pool and bar. At the reception the staff is courteous and the check-in/out processing fast. Few sore notes prevent you from considering the experience to be entirely excellent: HEATING > in mid-November only air conditioning works, cold (!) BATHROOM > although it is large, there is no shelf or small stool where to place toilet products; the window curtain is visibly filthy, to be washed urgently; the toilet flush is noisy. Housekeeping Managing > in my room the extraordinary cleanliness - which does not depend on the staff who tidy it up daily but on those who coordinate and check - is sloppy: some furnishings are badly stained with stains on the upholstery, the carpets down do not give the idea of clean, the heavy tents are dusty and detached from the riloga in some places, the ceiling is high and the window panes are cleaned only as far as you can get without a ladder...

Palais Le Brun is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Its location is perfect for exploring Valletta since it takes you about 5 minutes to walk to the very centre of the city, but it is still away from the hustle and bustle of the main street. It is located in a real 17th century palace but since it is not big, it has this magical feel to it and the atmosphere is very cosy. We had breakfast included and apart from a typical breakfast buffet we could also order something from the menu, which contained English, French and Maltese dishes free of charge. My absolute favourite were eggs Benedict. It was our anniversary and upon arriving at the hotel we found out that our room had been upgraded to a one with a hot tub on the terrace. In addition, it had been decorated with rose petals and heart-shaped balloons! It was such a pleasant surprise!!! We were completely blown away! The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. If we had a problem, it was solved in a matter of minutes. Special thanks to Lizzie (deeply sorry, if I have misspelt the name!)

Great location, comfortable bed and pillow. Decent size room, not immaculately clean as there was hair hanging on the lampshade. The main issue was different types of noise - unfortunately my hearing is very sensitive. I have had a private hot tub room. In other hotels, the jet was always off until it is being turned out. However the jet in the hot tub at this hotel turned itself on even tried turning it off numerous times. I did not realise that on my first night therefore there was a low pitch humming noise which disturbed my sleep. I had turned the main switch off on my second night to stop the noise. However, the washing machine in the staff room next door started at about 7am in the morning which disturbed my second night of sleep. The hotel compensated with a 30 minutes massage which was greatly appreciated. But on the forth night, I had no control of the hot tab in the room next door...it was on the whole night. I could not sleep and asked to change to a quiet room, appreciated that the hotel staff was very helpful and changed to a quiet room. I was being charged for that room rate, difference is only by cents but I felt that I was being punished by the noise as well as the inconvenience. I did not have decent sleep 3 out of the 4 nights of my stay. Breakfast quality was good however the portion size was far from generous. Especially the amount of bake beans offered, it was served in a tiny relish pot which contains barely couple of tea spoons worth of bake beans.

We are here currently and can’t recommend this hotel enough! We have visited Malta several times (got married here last year) and Valletta is our favourite place to stay. This has to be one of the best hotels in the area, the rooftop pool is amazing - practically had it to ourselves each morning and the location is great to explore Valletta and the rest of the island. Rooms are very comfy, cool from the air con and capture the feel of Valletta perfectly. Finally, the staff are brilliant - breakfast staff could not do enough for us, and food was very tasty - made to order from the menu provided. A definite 10/10 from us- we will be back asap!

The room was large enough, the beds were very wide and comfortable, daily cleaning of the room and bathroom, the reception staff answered us kindly and gave us useful information, including about restaurants with local menu (Maltese rabbit). Breakfast varied enough, but it would be preferable to have and vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers) and several types of fresh juices (it was only orange juice, otherwise very good). Overall, it was a nice exerience.

A gem of a hotel situated in a great location but far enough away to avoid any noise issues. The room was lovely we had a suite with Hot tub which we used everyday. We had a sun terrace but due to time of year the sun did not hit it till late afternoon. Was really happy with the suite roomy huge bed lovely bedding and decor. Fresh water coffee machine hair dryer all included.Bathroom was a great size with a double shower. You could hear noise from other guests but not to disturbing. Minor niggle mirrors there was a small magnified mirror on the dressing table which i found a little small so the only option was a long mirror in a corner so I had to move a chair and sit there to do hair etc. Also a couple of the plugs did not appear to work with some of my electrical appliances. Breakfast was lovely a warm welcome from the staff every morning especially Any and Milly. Plenty of options pastries yogurts continental and a fresh cooked selection. The roof top pool area offered a peaceful place to soak up the afternoon sun after sightseeing in the city. My only gripe could not understand why the pool bar wasnt open when temps were mid to late 20s the pool bar at their sister La Gomina i think was the name had their bar open and would have been nice to have a refreshing drink. Finally the staff in general were excellent friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend Le Palais finished off my 60th birthday celebrations perfectly.

Had a lovely stay here for 4 nights, staying in one of the rooms with a hot tub.
All the staff we encountered were very friendly and accommodating - special mention to the breakfast team (particularly Ana) who provided a lovely welcome each morning to set you up for the day, and taking steps to accommodate a gluten free diet (with special gluten free brownies which went down a treat!)
The on-site fitness facilities were appropriate for the size of the hotel and sufficient for holiday makers where only a quick workout was needed.
The top floor pool provided a refreshing location to cool off after a hot day, with a nice little sun trap for lounging.

The most brilliant hotel! Location is excellent - Valetta can be quite busy and noisy but the hotel is just slightly outside the 'busier' parts. Room, breakfast, staff simply amazing. Pool is relatively small and not heated but when we were there it was ideal. Roof top terrace beautiful. The main streets (Republican and Merchant) are 5 minutes walk away. We were unsure where the hotel was so asked them to arrange a taxi to collect us from the airport which was 26 euros. When we left we booked an Uber at 11 euros ... wish I had done a little more research on that! Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Sorry about the late reply .... the pool is very small ... honestly I would describe it as a plunge pool with very few sun beds ... possibly only about 8
