The guesthouse was lovely along with the owners who were very friendly and helpful. It is too far out of town to walk and a taxi to the downtown area runs about $20.00 US. The taxi did take a credit card. It is out of the way but very nice.

I've spent recently four nights at Mosi Guesthouse, located in the outskirt of Reykjavik, in a peaceful neighbourhood. The owners have welcomed us properly, showed our room and provided guidence on how to get the most out of their guesthouse. Our room was small but clean and tide.

There is one bathroom between four double rooms.
If the place is not fully booked you'll just love it, otherwise you would waist valuable time in the morning, waiting in line for the bathroom and to have breakfast. Wi-fi is excellent at Mosi. A cozy small living area bridge the four rooms; Mosi has lots of travelling books and maps of Iceland.

Breakfast consists mainly of milk, juice, coffee, cereals, cold cuts, cheese and sometimes jam.
Parking is not a problem, there are plenty of parking spots in the area.

based on my experience at Mosi, I recommend it if you visit Iceland during the low and shoulder seasons. Coming here in the summer might not be very wise.

It's a flat with four double rooms. The lounge area is super cosy with a big tv and free Internet access. The bathroom is new with only one toilet available. The bedrooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is self service. The owners are charming and very helpful. It is a little out of town, taxis are expensive but there is a frequent bus service. I would highly recommend for short or long stays, lovely place, chilled owners and very good value for money. Thank you so much for taking care of us Charlie and Dave

The owners are great and are part of what makes this guesthouse so pleasant! Everything is new - very nice and comfy rooms, a lounge to relax and talk with other guests, and a nice clean bathroom. The location is also quite fine, it is ~10 mins by bus from the city center and there are plenty of nice restaurants in walking distance.

This b'n'b went beyond our expectations. It is just now opening so everything is new and fresh! There is not a single thing to complain. It was perfectly clean and warm. Exceptional reception! Amazing breakfast with warm bread and fresh food.
Hosting family was extremely friendly and shared all the tips of traveling in Iceland and local life. We feel that is has been the best place that we have ever staid, felt like spending time at friends place and at the same time having enough of private space.
Takk, Helga and Halli.
We are coming back one day :)

A comfortable guesthouse with very friendly owner & staff. It's a little way out out of the centre of Reykjavik, and therefore quieter and more affordable. Plus it was the only hotel/guesthouse in our entire stay in Iceland that understood what a double bed means.

What a find!! This lovely 4 bedroom apartment was well located with local buses within a 5 min walk, a supermarket within 5 mins and local takeaways a little further away. However with cooking facilities (a microwave, a hot plate, a kettle) all pots, pans, glasses and crockery, you were able to cater well for yourself indoors. The pick up for the airport on the flybus+ drops you off and collects you outside the apartment.
The tours for Northern lights, Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon had pick ups only a ten min walk away from us outside some other apartments.
The apartment was clean, comfortable and easily big enough for 5 adults and 3 children.
All correspondence was answered quickly and the access code to the apartments were emailed a week before we left.
I would highly recommend staying here.

There's no way to contact the owner without booking by Booking.com website and the final charge on my credit card had been 7€ higher than displayed on the reservation page. After booking and after few emails, I suddenly received a notification about the payment .. I immediately call by phone and his answer was: "the booking fee is unrefundable and I usually do like this" .. the reservation is not refundable but should I pay in advance so much time before staying??!
The apartament is fine but flexibility is not allowed; the location is not so close to city center. Mr Sirus is almost unpolite. Choose this solution if you can't find anything else.
