Detailed Reviews
We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment located on Laugavegur 85, it’s confusing as we went to the other location first Bergstaðastræti 12! So double check your booking details!
The apartment was huge! So warm we didn’t even need the heating.
It had loads of amenities, a full kitchen with appliances.
It was super secure with a key code on the front door and another on the apartment door.
When contacting the hosts they were super responsive and recommended a nearby luggage storage facility due to us arriving early.
I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return!

Firstly, you really can’t eat the location, right in the centre of Reykjavik, 100 metres from the ‘rainbow road’!
Keypad entry with code was a bit temperamental at first and we called the 24 hour helpline and they let us in remotely. It was fine once it had reset. Free parking behind the apartment was really useful. The place was very clean and well equipped. Wi-Fi and TV worked fine. Plenty of towels, and a good hairdryer.
If we were suggesting an improvement, some milk in the fridge on arrival to go with the small amount of tea and coffee would be helpful.
I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook here if visiting Reykjavik in future.

We booked this as we wanted something with a kitchen, free parking and also walkable to the central areas and sights, this ticked all boxes.
Whereas for all other places we stayed in Iceland, we got an email a day or two before with check in details, we had nothing from here. That is despite my having emailed them a week prior, with no reply.
As I understood that this location didn't have a proper reception, I didn't want to just turn up and not know where to park or how to gain access to our apartment. I ended up calling them the day prior, where they said I should have had an email about check in (I hadn't). They sent it to me on request, confirmed where to park, and all was fine after that.
The place itself was fine, nice and spacious, good kitchen facilities, comfortable bed, quiet. It was the only place in everywhere we stayed in Iceland where we were a little chilly though - everywhere else seemed to be verging on being too hot, yet here in the city the temperature was pretty cool in the apartment.
The only real complaint is that the whole time we were there, the apartment smelled quite strongly of damp. I suspect the owners must know this is an issue, as the bathroom window had been left fully open when we checked in. But even leaving this open whilst showering, didn't stop the lingering damp smell, which was in every room. It didn't spoil our trip though.

Great studio apartment in the centre of Reykjavik, 2 minute walk from the two main roads with all of the shops and restaurants. Be aware that they email you with the code for the doors, if like me your email ends up in your junk email folder you may turn up and have no idea how to get it your apartment. The door mechanism broke on our room and the owner came within 10 minutes on a Saturday night to give us a key, really excellent service. There are 6-7 car parking spaces to use, there was always a space for us but its quiet due to COVID. Car park and road parking paying at the ticket machine otherwise.
Very clean apt with a full kitchen, English TV channels and free wifi. Perfect place, would stay again.

We had a lovely unit on the fourth floor with a small balcony view over the historic street. Very clean, modern, and well equipped. Location was perfect for us, in a quiet area but with easy walking to lots of interesting shops and restaurants . The only minor drawbacks for some may be no elevator or lack of a full stand up shower. There was a large spa tub with handheld shower under a sloped ceiling that was a minor inconvenience. Staff were amazing, and were able to accommodate early checkin

We can thoroughly recommend this accommodation; great value for money, really clean, big enough with everything we needed for our stay. Also in a great location we felt like we were in the heart of Reykjavik, but it wasn't noisy at night. The support team were really helpful and responsive on email, so I didn't miss there not being a reception on site.
There is a supermarket just round the corner and a 5 minute walk from lovely restaurants and shops.
Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Reykjavik

Excellent location, 2 minute walk to Rainbow Street. We arrived in Intl Airport and decided to get the Airport coach transfer into Reykjavik Bus Terminal and then walked. Walk was around 20 mins. You receive an email prior to arrival with code for door entry (main and your room). The email was very useful and contained lots of local info. We arrived early and whilst attempted to call the number for reception, a message kept advising no one to answer. We tried slightly earlier than advised 3pm and thankfully it worked.
The studio apartment was very clean and modern. Kitchen had all appliances (and crockery and utensils) but we mostly ate out. Tv had a number of Channels (languages). Towels were adequate for a 4 night stay. There was no coffee, tea, milk so we purchased this in a supermarket, one minute around corner.
Shower was excellent. Bathroom clean.
Area and other rooms were quiet.
We used the stairs, don’t think there is a lift.
Black out blinds useful for 24/7 sunshine in summer.

We rented a 1 bedroom apartment which was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, and everything was clean. Check in and check out were quick and easy through email or via the app. Hotel location was in a good area and close to many shopping and historical sights. We were able to walk 2 blocks to a Kronan grocery market for food supplies which helped us save our money for eating dinner out or other experiences.

Stayed here for 3 nights, although there is no reception, email communication was prompt and attentive, which I preferred than a conventional reception. After an early arrival the staff made every effort to store our bags and contact us as soon as the apartment was ready.
The apartment was very spacious and well appointed. WiFi and kitchen were great, take t- bags with you, non provided and expensive in Iceland. The bathroom was large with a corner Jacuzzi, unfortunately due to the apartment being in the roof space the shower head was fixed to the wall low down. At 6'2" this was a bit of an issue, for the less agile it would cause a problem, but as this building has no lift, the less agile wouldn't be able to access this particular room anyway, but this was a minor point and we wouldn't stay anywhere else now in Reykjavik in the future.

We stayed here during our recent trip to Iceland and had a fabulous experience. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. It’s warm and comfortable. Little things I enjoyed were the balcony, the powerful shower and hairdryer (if you know you know) and good bathroom lighting (ideal for makeup application!). If you’re like us and prefer space to move around over a cramped hotel room, then this is ideal. The area is quiet and safe, just a stones throw from Reykjavik’s famous “Rainbow Street”. It is easily accessible, provides decent WiFi, on-site parking and staff are friendly and helpful. This is somewhere I’d happily book again. 10/10 recommend.
