I stayed this hotel for 2 nights with a wife and three kids(6,3,1year) during 19 days vacations in Scandinavian countries.

As we are on touring for 19 days in Scandinavian countries and this hotel is the first place to wash our clothes, I sent e-mail to hotel to confirm if there is a self-laundry facility (even there is detergent!) before booking.

<Good>
1, Great sauna! Located in Top floor and it is huge. I enjoyed great time with locals.
2, My room type was “family room”, which was not one-big-suite room, but two connecting rooms consist of one small size room and one medium size room. You have two shower rooms and refrigerators. Total one sofa bed, double bed, single bed.
3, Fantastic and friendly staff.
4, A microwave is in restaurant so you can use this to make your dish from outside hot. We got some food from super market near-by and had a great dinner…
5, I was impressed that there was a small business card type picture on the desk in the room which show who’ve cleaned my room. I’ve never seen this kind of card and appreciate one lady and her job who made us stay very comfortable.
6, Breakfast is good. You have waffle (self-cooking)!

<Bad>
1, This is little bit too demanding but there was no kettle. I am not sure why but I came to know Finish are the people who drink coffee most in the world but there was no kettle. I stayed two hotels in Finland but both doesn’t have kettle. Maybe they can spend little money to furnish kettle each room.
2, You need to pay small money to park your car outside (5.5 EURO). No need to pay weekend.

We spent two nights at Norlandia. It was peaceful and the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good with both warm and cold foods. The air conditioning in the room was a bit loud during the night. I was disappointed that there was no water boiler in the room like there usually are in hotel rooms. You could rent a water boiler from the reseption for 10€/day, but that was way too much for a cup of tea. All in all, the hotel was fine to spend a couple nights in.

Traveled in business, and for that this hotel was excellent. The location is not optimal for someone discovering Tampere as a city, unless wanting to take a cab to the city center or having your own car. Easy to get parking for your car. Breakfast was good, rooms spacious and clean.

This hotel has superb rooms, but pathetic breakfast & doubles up as a hospital; yes....a hospital. Everything about this place is just bizarre. You truly wouldn't believe you're in Finland. Outside are just carparks upon carparks! If you wish for scenery; absolutely forget it.

I'm very confused, I paid rate for average 4 stars hotel but I didn't find most of hotels amenities and services.
In Room, there is no Coffee supplies, no glasses, Bath supplies are very poor and the reception staff, outlet staff and housekeeping staff are close to be a Hospital reception team.
No Room Services, only a very average breakfast in a very small outlet. lunch and dinner upon request and it is very average as well.
entrance of the hotel is the same of the hospital and lobby every day full of patients, doctors and other medical staff.
It wasn't convenient at all and I think that their rate is very high comparing to services that you got.

This hotel lies a bit on the outskirts of Tampere, so you would actually need a car between the city and the hotel. Still, the hotel does provide only a small number of parking spaces, I was just lucky to get one. The building is some kind of rehab centre and the hotel is integrated in the top floors and works just like a usual hotel. The staff is friendly but keeps a professional distance.

The rooms are not too large, the bathroom is suitable for disabled people. The light in the bathroom is activated by movement, but lasts far too long: some 30 minutes after the last movement detected. Of course there is a sauna nicely situated on the top floor, which can be used at no further cost.

Everything is clean, well maintained. The breakfast offers a medium choice, which is okay, but could be better.

The hotel is definitely worth of recommending!
New, clean and quiet. We came by car so I can't commend anything about the public transportation but I think the connections are good as the hotel is just next to the Tampere university hospital. The staff is very friendly and rooms are extremely clean. I especially liked the room that had a high ceiling which gives you a feeling of space although the rooms otherwise were not too big (but either too small, average I would say). A big plus for the cleanliness and for the new rooms (not worn out at all). The breakfast is good, maybe a bit crowded place with families but can't complain. Enough to eat although nothing too fancy but very good breakfast in general. We parked the car next to the hotel for free, I think you got a coupon or something that you can park for free. No problems with the car either. Definitely I recommend!

Not far away from Tampere City Center you find this brand new hotel. If you are not to supreme nightlife experiences but want to a good sleep-over, pick this hotel! It is only 5 minutes from city center and its location mind be quite odd (being next to a hospital) but it is very comfortable.

Location is middle of the Tampere university hospital area so you gona need some kind of navigator to find this hotel.It's brand new so room was perfect condition.Amenities in the room were poor,only handsoap and little bottle of shampoo.Bed in the room was too soft for me but pillow was OK.
Because the hotel is middle of the hospital area there's no anykind of street or partynoises so you could be sure you are able to sleep well.Breakfast was very good as it's always in finnish hotels.
Tampere's center is about 2,5 km away from hotel so if you don' t have you own car taxi to center is about 15€.

This hotel is situated at the Tampere University Hospital complex on the outsirkts of Tampere. It has rooms on 7 floors and is very modern. We booked it for the easy access to the airport which is situated 18 kms away. A taxi ride cost us 35 euros.
Our twin room on the 7th floor was big and airy. The colour scheme is mainly brown and green. The bathroom is lovely and big. The best thing about the room was the beds! They were very comfortable! Food at the hotel was good and breakfast was the usual hotel menu: ham, cheese, scrambled and boiled eggs, bread (including gluten free) and cake. Tea in Finland is not very good so take your own tea bags. There is also a sauna on the 8th floor! The hotel is about 3 kms from Tampere city but there are busses although sometimes these get very busy as the hospital staff and university students also use them.
Being one of the newest and cheapest hotels in Tampere we would recommend it for a short stay like a one nighter for the airport.
