This was written by my 16 year old daughter. We went to Lemnos with Neilson from the 14th July to the 28th July. We flew from Heathrow which is my favourite airport. When we boarded the plane, we were told there would be a delay - I expected over an hour however it was about 35

The resort itself is lovely, but the sunsets are divine. Good equipment, lovely food and staff. Ella at the kids club was our favourite nanny. The beach itself is pretty good, however you have to wade through around 3 or 4 feet of large pebbles to get into the sea which could be

We stayed for a fortnight which was a mistake. There is little to see outside the resort. Marina has a few taverns but most are a bit tourist expensive. We had a medicane whilst there which lost us 3 days and coloured our view. Everything was up to Neilson standard and they

We are a family of 3 - with one teenager aged 17 and we have been on a lot of these holidays! This one has a better than average hotel and a good location but it is missing that magic Nielson something... I think it’s the staff - as they didn’t seem to have that team spirit or

You can use the rackets provided but a few people brought their own-It depends on your preference/luggage space! You could snorkel from the beach.Watch out for the sea urchins (they were everywhere when we visited end of May)! Not sure about the dive school but you could call/tweet/email Neilson to find out?

It is a steep site so could be tricky, although there are ramps and paths as alternatives to steps. Messini may be a better alternative. A flat site with good paths. Last year we were at Messini at the same time as a young man using an electric wheelchair and messini seemed to work for him. The staff seemed great and ensured he was included in as many of the teen activities as possible.

How much is horse riding? How long is it and what sort of ride? Thanks!
I think I paid €55 for a whole morning riding down to the beach, in the sea and back again. Also included some refreshments too. If you go to the info centre in resort they will call the stables and you can talk directly top the proprietor to see what they can do for you.

"Garden room are more expensive but quieter then the hotel rooms and the view. Is much better"
"Bring a wetsuit, in case the weather is bad. A pair of knee protector, we found our knees grazed by the sands on the boats."
"Go for the views (and ocean sounds) in the garden rooms"
"Have a room within the main hotel, as then during bad weather you don't need to go outside"
"If you get value from a sea view you're probably not making the most of the place"
