This is not a luxury five star hotel but it is a BRILLIANT little place to explore Athens! I paid about 300 euros for five nights including breakfast and return flights from the UK. It's a quirky hotel but so convenient! A couple of minutes walk from the nearest metro station. Or, turn right out of the hotel and walk for about 10-15 minutes and you're in Central Athens. The area is a little 'dingey' but I liked it. If you explore the local area, there are several eating place nearby. Breakfast was......Orange squash, toast, cereal, fruit, boiled egg, little cakes, ham, jam, tea and coffee. Eat as much as you wish to set yourself up for the day. Your key stays at the hotel when you go out which is a good system. There is a 24 hour desk wit a door bell. You ring the door bell, and they let you in. It's so much better than carrying a key round all day. The room is fairly comfortable and the air conditioning was lovely! Just one thing....the toilet/sink/shower room was odd...There were no curtains or walls around the shower tray so you have to be careful not to spray water on the floor of the shower room! If I were to visit Athens again, I would stay here again!…
Walking distance from the Larissa train station. Got a room on the 5th floor, with a large balcony, but the wifi didn't work up there. Had to go up and down 5 flights of stairs any time I had to use the wifi. We got in late and left early, just a cheap place to sleep, which wasn't too bad.
Hotel is located near metro station, so it's comfortable to visit tourist attractions via public transport. Neighborhoods are quite safe. Rooms are oldfashion but clean and comfortable. Stuff is very friendly, English speaker. For breakfast is served tasty, fresh buns, toast, two flavours of marmalade, one type of cheese and meat, milk, corn flakes, tea, coffe, fresh apples and oranges.
The location of Delta Hotel is very convenient, very near to metro station. The rooms are small , however clean and have a small balcony. There is a lift which is convenient. The rooms are cleaned everyday. Mr. George, the owner, is very nice and helpful. The bathrooms are very small and require some repair & maintenance. The Acropolis historical site is about 15 mins by metro. There are some good restaurants, ATMs, Departmental store within walking distance. The hotel serves good breakfast.
I paid for 3 days and stayed 1. This place is gross with stains and hair all over. Toilet is cramped and uncomfortable to use. Can not charge phone unless you unplug tv. Door lock is not safe to leave items.
