A good budget hotel lovely welcome from reception. The room was clean and fresh towels daily. Me personally the mattress was very hard. Sound proofing needs to be addressed. Breakfast good selection and a good start to the day.

Stayed here many times. Value for money. Good breakfast. Efi on reception is so lovely. Always helpful. Great for a central location. The hotel is doing some upgrades. I work in the business and for the price its a great place to stop for a few nights. Clean sheets every day.. some tolietries.. bbc world on tv. Good powerful shower. Service friendly. Yes the road is busy outside but you have triple glazing on the balcony door so it is fine. 2 mins to the metro. Evi on reception will give you all the information you need on local transport.. tours.. etc. Always a pleasure to stay here.

May look a bit old on the outside but modern and everything you need on the inside. Roof top bar and restaurant over looking the ancient Acropolis a few minutes walk away .It has one of the best breakfasts suitable for almost everyone. It is a few steps away from the metro. It connects to the airport and the train station .Short walk to a major market of restaurants, merchandise and souvenirs. The real jewel of this hotel is Effi at the front desk lady .This is our second stay here in five years. This beautiful smiling woman never tires of helping you. She is a book of knowledge of Athens. You get to love her almost right away. The owner has a real prize here and she makes the hotel stay a real memory.

The Apollo makes no bones about being a budget hotel and the price is right. What do you get? Air-conditioning, a pleasant lobby, an elevator, a great breakfast, a comfortable, secure room with good soundproofing, a good shower, and a rooftop bar with excellent food and a view of the Acropolis. If you want more than this for the small rates you pay, you are hard to please! One word of warning: we arrived by metro from the airport, alighting at the nearest metro station, just around the corner from the hotel, Metaxourgeio, and were confronted by three steep flights of stairs which were tough going with our luggage. Avoid this station of you can.
