We spent two nights at Athens Atrium Hotel. I chose this property because there is a covered parking (with a few parking spaces), but this was convenient to us at the start of our roadtrip. The hotel is somewhat worn out, but very nicely maintained, and very clean. The rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is OK.

Tye hotel is located in the middle of the distance from Athens city centre and sea side. It is a very nice option if you want a more comfortable room on the same price as in historical district. Better to have car as the transportation from side of the city is not for tourists as the hotel is inside a residential area.

Bedroom was fine. Breakfast was basic but edible. Staff were friendly although didn’t take any action when we raised concerns. The shower didn’t work - the jets didn’t spray, the door didn’t shut, there was mould and it was cracked. Marketed as a jacuzzi suite hotel it was very disappointing. It’s not centrally located and perhaps not super safe to walk but it is a short Uber ride from everywhere you would want to be. In no way a 4 star hotel.

We visited Athens in September at the start of our road trip around the Peloponnese. We spent 2 nights in this lovely hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. Great room, good bathroom and powerful shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a good buffet and lots of good coffee. Great place to stay and good value for money. Thoroughly recommend. David

My boyfriend and I spent two nights at the hotel before heading to the islands. Pros: friendly and helpful staff; big room with balcony; nice neighbourhood to explore. Cons: it's far from the nearest subway station (a 20 min walk maybe); our room wasn't ready at the check-in time. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
