The hotel is located in the heart of Athens and at a very affordable price. The Breakfast that is served on the rooftop offers stunning views and the a traditional feeling of Athenian local life. The hotel staff are very friendly and it offers a safe visit with Covid protocols in place. The staff were very friendly in helping me organise my covid test for my return journey and I couldn't fault any of the hospitality. Will definitely be visiting again :)
We stayed one night at this delightful hotel while on a business trip. They have implemented all the covid safety measures very seriously...you even order your breakfast online as well as checking in online. The staff were helpful and very pleasant. Our room had a balcony and a view of the Acropolis ...a full view!!! The room was tastefully decorated, neat and in good condition. Because of Covid restrictions, we could either order breakfast in our room or have it on the terrace..we chose in our room and after choosing what we wanted online, it was delivered to our room on time. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. We will definitely be returning back to this hotel again and highly recommend it.
We arrived in Athens the day before the city went into proper lockdown. This hotel was by far the most careful and hygiene conscious of any place we stayed in. Even the keycards are sterilised. The staff went out of their way to be helpful to us bearing in mind the following day we were not allowed to leave our room! The breakfast was truly fantastic. I was really taken aback at how much was provided and the quality of the food. The only thing I would say is the coffee was undrinkable. I asked if we could replace our drinks with tea and there was no hesitation. The rooms are definitely small (only if you are in fact required to stay in your room all day!) but we had a balcony with the most fabulous view of the acropolis. In addition, there is the large terrace on the top of hotel where we had our breakfast. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The location of the hotel is really great if you can see the sights. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the nearby streets. We could only order take away given lockdown. We really appreciated the hotel allowing us an early check-in. We paid £20 to have a later checkout because our flight didn't leave until the late afternoon and we had no where to go. The reason for top review is based on the price you pay and what you get in return. This is not a 5 star hotel but for what it is, you get great value.…
A totally satisfying experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast, ordered online, served in-room. Alternatively we had the chance to eat in the roof-garden that offered an amazing view of the Parthenon and the Philopappos hill. Located just beyond the Acropolis Acropolis View Hotel is just a breath away from Athens greatest tourist attractions, while being close enough to the metro station (red line). Ultimately we may choose this hotel for our upcoming visits to Athens.
I needed a break, and with so many Coronavirus restrictions and generally bad news, it made me want to take a break. I chose Athens and the Acropolis View Hotel. It was an excellent decision! I was greeted warmly at the reception, and everyone took the Coronavirus precautions very seriously. My room was immediately adjacent a hand sanitation dispenser, and the room was meticulously clean. QR codes placed in the room made it easy to preorder breakfast, which could be served either in the room or on the rooftop. 30 minute intervals were allotted and even with this there was no rush. The food was delicious and plentiful. The views were truly amazing. It is hard to believe that a hotel of this superior caliber is available for anything close to what they were asking for a stay. Without a doubt, this is a 5 star level experience. I am very pleased to fully recommend the Acropolis View Hotel. I can't wait to return. …
