This owners of this park walked us to our site, assisted in parking our van and gave us a rundown of the parks facilities. The shower/toilets were the unisex ones and they were great. The swimming pool was b....y freezing but I enjoyed was I got used to it. Plenty to see around the town and a short trip to Karumba.
4 bbqs, pizza oven, 2 sinks and loads of seating in very clean camp kitchen. Large and very clean pool, well kept grounds, clean toilet/shower blocks M+F with soap and hotwater. I read the sites were narrow but we were given extra room. Manager/reception very helpful and friendly even at night time when I had trouble with the bbq, the manager just came and helped. Quirky little town with everything we needed
We spent 3 days at this park. Managers very friendly, and help you in all sorts of ways. Be aware, the office closes at 5 pm. It’s close to town, but like all the Outback towns, there is only a couple of shops, prices reflect this. Check out the campfire, held every night in the Shed. I would return.
We stayed here for three nights. Wonderful pool and camp kitchen. The managers, Kate and Rick, were very welcoming and able to help us with a small caravan problem. The town itself is a little jewel and is very neat and tidy. It has a great tourist info and museum.
Arrived mid afternoon after abandoning plans to free camp at Leichhardt falls due to the scorching heat and drought affected landscape. This park afforded us everything we needed- a shady van site, spotlessly clean amenities and camp kitchen and a huge sparkling clean swimming pool with the water at an ideal temperature for a night time swim. Not only that, our internet speeds on Telstra phones were commendable . The new managers are friendly and dedicated to their job. Loved this park .
