We stayed here for three nights costing us $360 all up. The pool was green and not up to swimming standard so we weren’t able to swim at all for the three days we were there. When we booked we were told by the female on the phone that they gave us this particular room because all the other rooms aircons leaked. Too bad this aircon leaked like a trooper as well. We had to put a BUCKET (not a bowl or cup) underneath the aircon because it was leaking that much. It was far too hot to go without and by the time we realised it was leaking (about 10pm, an hour after we turned it on), reception would have been long shut and we would have had to get an electrician in. Not happening at 10pm on a Sunday. Should have just let it go so they could have dealt with the water damage to their property. The aircon was barely cold even with the leaking and the room was dirty with dust bunnies under the bed. Pretty disgusting. I know this is a remote area but tourist come from far and wide and you should have more respect for your business. I would NEVER recommend staying at this park. When we notified the owners of the aircon leak all she could say was “oh okay” and sent us on our way. After spending almost $400 you would expect to have a silent sleep and a cold aircon. Don’t recommend.…
Really happy with my stay at this park. For a place that is quite remote, this park ticks all the boxes. Good facilities, great pool and camp kitchen, fantastic location - walking distance to the shops, pubs, and managers are what I believe make this place. They are both so friendly, helpful and welcoming, and nothing is too dificult. As weather is starting to heat up, its hard to find a better spot than chilling and relaxing by the pool. Would not hesitate to recomend👌
We stayed for two nights and that was long enough. The room was Ok but the whole Park needed a bit of attention. The pool area was well maintained, but the gardens around the park were not well maintained.
As I use Tripadvisor reviews I felt obliged to add a negative one. The pool as shown in the picture is good but the accommodation leaves a lot to be desired. I don't have a problem with old as long as it is maintained and clean. I had to wash up everything before using it as there are no doors in the kitchen and everything was dusty. Chords etc are hanging down the wall and it wouldn't take much to make improvements. That being said the bed was comfortable (fortunately). Another disappointing Big 4 of which I am no longer a member.
Plenty of space Easy access Good facilities/ camp kitchen Lovely pool Staff helpful and polite - given what Virus Right in town What mire do you need Normanton a very nice town Hope i can come back one day Graham
