We were a last minute stay due to other accommodation in the town being unsuitable, Amanda was nothing but helpful and responsive. The room was clean and comfortable and the pool was a godsend during our stay. We were told by locals the meals there are amazing however the restaurant service had not recommenced from Xmas etc - next time hopefully. I often travel to Normanton and this will now be the only place I will be booking.

Rustic place, well kept, shady. Good price. Stayed overnight so did not use the restaurant. Stayed in our van but facilities were quite alright. REcommend the van park for longer stay. Out of town a bit to quiet.

We didn’t get to stay here as booked. There was a plumbing issue with the room that couldn't be fixed (seems it’s difficult to get a plumber in Normanton). However, Amanda had found us a room elsewhere, which was very decent of her and appreciated.

We arrived late in the afternoon. The lad who registered us struggled to make the internet work so he wrote our details on a post it. We were directed to the entry where we waited for quite a while. We we then directed to a pleasant site. No grass but a good concrete pad and plenty of tree cover. The price was very reasonable.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Gulfland Motel whilst working in Normanton this week. Apart from the room so much being better than I had expected, nothing was a problem. So you need a pick up from the air port? No Worries see you in 10 minutes. So you need to get to your appointment No Worries I run you down there? Oh your plane dosent leave for another 4 hours no Worries come in and watch some telly in the air conditioning. Food, large portions well cooked and fresh No Worries!!! Thanks Amanda for your hospitality.
