Great value and location

It was a great hotel, staff was awesome location was perfect for access to subway and right next to mall and stadium. My room was perfect and great deal for price I paid. Only reason it is not 5/5 is because the a/c would not cool my room at all. Kind of funny given the name of…

Excellent

Very beatiful and clean, family friendly hotel. Easy access to city centre by metro what is only a couple of minutes away by feet. A bit difficult for parking. Football stadium and shopping mall just next hotel.

how far is bars or clubs ?

It is in fact 4-5km from downtown, nevertheless there is a metro station very close, and some bars and restaurants (more local less touristic) not far away (the area of the city is Antas area. There is a shopping next door and the Stadium of FCP (stadium o fthe Dragon)

They serve breakfast in the hotel. But just turn around the hotel building and there is a shopping mall that has many options for food and coffee .

Is this close to the port?

The AC Marriott hotel is out of the town of Porto. However the Metro train takes you there in 10 minutes at a cost of 1.50 Euros. From the station you can walk to anywhere in downtown. The metro station near the hotel is Estadio Do Dragao and you get off at Trindade station to go to downtown. The river is a 10 minute walk from the Trindade Metro station.Just adjacent to the hotel is a shopping plaza which is very convenient for groceries, food and coffee. there are restaurants and cafes in the plaza. if you stay by the river , you will pay 3 times more for the hotel and it is noisy and the rooms are tiny.
