Great view, abysmal coffee

Popped in here for a coffee. Worst coffee I have found in Sintra. And the coffee in my own hotel is pretty bad. Also rather a grumpy waitress. The view however is amazing and the guests seem happy enough.

Fantastic hotel with stunning views.

The location of this hotel is fantastic for exploring the old town. Walking distance to many wonderful sights. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My valley view room offered the most amazing views both day and night

Great Location

You couldn’t get a much better location for Sintra than this hotel, it’s dead opposite the National Palace and bang in the middle of town. Also handy if you have a car, we parked outside, but the roads up to the hotel can be a little hairy. Hotel was very pleasant, staff were…

Sintra Visit

Great hotel, very centrally located and beautiful view of surrounding valley from all rooms in the hotel. Close to shopping and National Palace. Breakfast was only point of concern, food was cold, limited selection such as no black tea and not very appealing.

Beautiful location near Lisbon

I stayed at this property for business and found it too be quite an interesting and enjoyable visit. I don't think this site is for the business traveler because the location is far outside the city. However, this property is located in the middle of historic and hilly Sintra.…

Is the underground parking big enough for a Ford Ranger 4x4 ?

I’m sorry I can’t help you as we did not have a car on our visit to Sintra.

Is there free parking for hotel guests?

I was there a few weeks ago. I didn’t have a car. I don’t know about an under hotel garage. There was limited parking in front of the hotel that was marked for hotel guests only. However, I did see people park there who were most likely not guests. Be aware that driving in Sintra is crazy. They recently made a number of area roads one-way which has created convoluted routes between some points. There are some situations where it is quicker to walk than drive - seriously. The locals hate it. There appear to be some restrictions on who can drive where in the historic area. Taxis/Ubers could not pick us up at the hotel - we had to walk into the center of the historic area. I would avoid driving if at all possible.

The hotel hotel Tivoli Sintra doesn't have a pool. It is located right in the heart of the Village, next to all monuments and tourist attractions.
