Welcome to Hotel Convento do Salvador. Located in the heart of Alfama, one of Lisbon's most legendary neighbourhoods, the Hotel is just steps away from the city's main tourist attractions: St. George's Castle, Sé Cathedral, traditional bars and restaurants, Fado houses, down-town Lisbon and Praça de Comércio, museums, belvederes, the famous no. 28 tram which passes right outside the door of the Hotel. Hotel Convento do Salvador is an innovative socio-economic project which sets out to support the cultural activities of the Centro Convento do Salvador, geared towards children and youths, and operating in the same building. The services offered by the Hotel, namely the organisation of meetings and events, are a result of a liaison with this Youth Centre, which has different types of venues and equipment at its disposal. A display of artworks by some of the most renowned Portuguese contemporary artists may be viewed throughout the Hotel, in both common and private areas.
