A beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Our room was modern and spacious with great views. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and good coffee. We didn’t catch the light show but would love to see it next time.
I have just returned after a two-night/three-day stay at Lumen Hotel - and I already know I will book again in the future. This is the best value-for-money hotel I have ever stayed in, and an absolute credit to the staff and management. I stayed in a double room on the corner of the first floor, which offered a double aspect out onto the street. The L-shaped room meant there was additional space for a seating area, as well as a lengthy corridor with multiple wardrobes and cupboards. The shower was my favourite thing about the facilities - piping hot, excellent pressure and a great rainfall effect. You can even hear the TV/music through the inbuilt speakers! The bed was also extremely comfortable and huge, with crisp white linens. There’s no need to bring any toiletries other than toothpaste, as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand lotion are all provided. There is also a hairdryer and a tea tray and coffeemaker, as well as complimentary bottled water. I even came back to handmade biscuits one night! Breakfast is something else! From continental breakfast options to hot food, fruit, cakes, pancakes and pastries, there is something for every taste, as well as fresh juices, tea, coffee and even Prosecco all included. We didn’t need lunch on either day, as we were full enough to go straight through to dinner. I would especially like to compliment the cleaning staff (Lumen is spotless!), and the check-in desk staff. Nothing was too much trouble - including keeping hold of our bags after checkout until it was time to transfer to the airport. The social spaces (including the courtyard) were so relaxing, we chose to chill at the hotel during the afternoon on two of the three days we stayed - enjoying white wine at only €3 a glass! Location-wise, this is the perfect option for travellers who don’t want to stay in the central tourist hub - favouring the quietness of being slightly outside the main attraction areas; however, you can get an Uber into the heart of the city for only €5 or stroll down in around 30 minutes. I could go on about this fabulous hotel, but I recommend you try it for yourself :)…
I went there for both a personal and business stay. The bed is extremely comfortable and it was very quiet at night. There is a good atmosphere, the staff is adorable. It is a very good address in Lisbon.
Everything wonderful....staff, room/bathroom and breakfast. The bed was so comfortable. The shower was great with amazing water pressure. Could not fault anything. Extremely stylish. The light show was very good and unusual
Lumen is a very beautiful hotel with a great location, great ammenities, and with the friendliest staff! Very good price/quality ratio. I totally recommend it whether you go with friends, a couple, or solo!
We stayed at the Lumen Hotel in Lisbon with a group of 15 friends. Every single one was delighted and thankful that we chose the Lumen. Their attention to detail and high standards of customer service was impressive and the light show at night was the perfect touch to end the day. We will certainly stay at the Lumen Hotel again and will recommend to friends.
The hotel has a ‘high concept’ with the light-themed rooms, and the light show itself, which gives it a definitive character in the sea of business hotels in Lisbon. The staff is impeccable: both friendly and well prepared. The building itself has a warm atmosphere, and the rooms are modern, spacious and comprise some smart ideas.
Really good hotel with the most friendly staff ever. The Light Show is incredible as well. A good restaurant, with options of buffet or a la carte menu. I highly recommend it and hope to come back soon.
We had an amazing time in Lisbon, with much of it due to our perfect time at the Lumen Hotel. The staff was kind and accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable. The gym is also quite nice. If we were to go back to Lisbon, we would certainly stay at the Lumen Hotel!
Spent 3 nights in Lisbon with family. The overall experience in the hotel is great. The hotel is pretty new and well furnished. Rooms are clean with a comfy bed. The staff is very attentive, friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend it to all kinds of visitors in Lisbon.
