Is this hotel non smoking? Does it have black-out drapes and noise cancelling windows?

We were able to make the room very dark by drawing the curtains. Coimbra is quiet at night, I think once we heard a siren. There is some hall noise, but most guests are very quiet in the halls. Ask for the top floor.

I need to know if I can leave my suitcase in the hotel until the check-in time until I explore the city. I arrive to Coimbra around 6:00 AM

I get very early in the morning to Coimbra by train, the check in in the hotel is at 2:00 where can we leave my suitcase?

They took our luggage and kept it until our room was ready. I think this is not a problem because the staff is very helpful.

Is a self-service clothes washer/dryer available for hotel guests? If not, is there a good lavandria nearby?

i can't realy answer your question but by staff at hotel oslo i had several items washed and ironed for me and considering the cost and convenience aspect of it i found their prices to be very competitive and fair but obviously not as cheap as a self service or a 5asec launderette.

How small is the Standard Double room? Is there a desk and chair in the room or just the bed?

Our Standard Double Rooms are 16 m² and feature a desk, a chair and many also a small sofa. There is also a bathroom and a wardrobe in every room.
