We have been to Eden Resort three times before, this being our 4th. We had planned to travel in March 2019 but personal circumstances stopped that plan. Eden was then closed for refurbishment. We looked to visit during 2020 but Covid disrupted those plans. However, we were able to book a stay in mid October for 10 nights. On arriving at The Eden Resort, after getting local information and news from our taxi driver, we were delighted with the new look of the resort. From the outside and approaching the main buidling we could see that the main restaurant and lobby had changed drastically. A complete re design on the lobby and reception area which is now more modern, brighter and fresher. The restaurant now looks more modern too with better seating. The apartments and villas have all had a fresh makeover with paint, with the insides looking fresher and newer too. And due to the unprecedented changes to our usual way of life, staying at the resort meant having to adapt. We were advised earlier in the year that reservations would be necessary for dining. However, this is for during the busy peak times of the year. During our stay there were only my wife and myself plus another family of four staying all inclusive. So going for breakfast, lunch and dinner was just turn up and be looked after. Face coverings were and currently are required at all times anywhere except your own apartment or villa. Also there were hand sanitisers where you needed them prior to dining or drinking. The food was absolutely delicious. Because of the pandemic, the dining was table service and a menu was provided for our information. But you don't choose. Each course is brought to you, from the starter to the fish, pasta, meat and desert courses. Each is mouth watering and delicious. But we learned very quickly that we could not eat it all. The indoor pool is also a reserve first optiion. You are given 45 minutes to use the pool as the last 15 minutes out of the hour is used to disinfect. Only so many people can use the indoor pool at once, you have to shower everytime before going into the pool if you have left the pool area, to go to the bathroom for example and you have to wear a shower cap. However, my wife and I were the only pool users, so it was fantastic to have the whole of the warm pool to ourselves. The apartments and villas are cleaned, disinfected and looked after every day as opposed to twice a week in normal times. And we saw this during our stay. We have visited Eden Resort at this time of year because the weather is still great, low to mid 20's and sunshine. Also, it is out of peak season so there is no one here, we have the whole place to ourselves, it is quiet and peaceful. Just the way we like it. The staff were fantastic, fabulous and excellent hosts. Their hospitality went the extra mile everytime. And they are the reason we always return to Eden Resort. They looked after us like their own family, we are now part of their family and have made great friends with them. They made this holiday the best ever. We cannot wait to see them again next year.…
Just back from an amazing holiday at this fabulous EdenResort.our 7th time here and once again could not fault anything at all especially at this time of this awful pandemic, felt very safe,the standard of cleanliness as always very good, food excellent,staff where brilliant nothing was too much trouble for them and they made our stay extra special looking forward to returning in the near future, hopefully when things start getting back to normal.so thank you again for such a memorable holiday
A brilliant resort for self-catering or all-inclusive holidaymakers. Superb modern apartments with fully fitted kitchens and a large open plan layout. The friendly professional staff at all levels make everyone welcome. A good variety of food and drink. There is also a minibus shuttle service to the main town with short walk to the beach.
Just back from our lovely trip to the Eden resort..... been to this resort about 10 times now and it’s always a great holiday. The staff are so helpful and polite nothing is too much bother, they go above and beyond. We have stayed in different types of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments all immaculate and furnished very nicely. Restaurant has been recently refurbished and it’s lovely bright and spacious, food is always great and fresh, staff are again friendly . Any special requests we have asked for have always been fulfilled, which makes you happy as a returning client. Felt very safe Already booked for two visits for next year 2021. Thanks again to all the staff at the Eden Resort.
Holiday was excellent Eden resort had my email address and we were up to date with COVID-19 300 point plan on how to keep us safe and everybody around us Prior to arriving Considering a lack of customers because of COVID-19, Eden resort still maintained there very high standards, we have stayed pre Covid so we are able to compare before and now Finally I must give a special mention to the staff who are some of the nicest people you could meet and again in these difficult times they were all absolutely fantastic and helped to make our holiday experience a truly memorable one
