great location , spacious bedroom and bathroom, good room service, breakfast below expectations given the room rates and how grand is the hotel
service is average, had to queue to check in but they made it up with a Sinter claus chocolate gift :)

Stayed on 8th February, business trip. My 3rd stay at Estherea. Lovely hotel, combination of new and old. Great bedrooms facing canal. Staff at residence bar friendly and relaxed. Close to everything. Would recommend stay for business or pleasure and hope to be back.
Stunning hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. We had a great time and would definitely return. The free cakes and coffee were greatly appreciated. The decor was amazing and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

We bought our train tickets at the airport. We bought a tram pass and used it from the airport to Amsterdam and while in Amsterdam. We ended our trip with friends in Rotterdam, so we purchased tickets from Rotterdam to the airport when we got to the station in Rotterdam. It was all very simple, though we did need guidance about where to get the different teams and trains. People all spoke English and were always helpful.
