This apartment was an unexpected surprise in notoriously expensive Zurich. The furnishings were beautiful as well as comfortable, the location perfect, just across the river from the main railway station and a tram stop 50 outside the front door. The staff were considerate and accommodating - when I had to check out long before my flight back home, they offered me a meeting room in which I could sit and work. They also kept my luggage for me on the first day when we arrived long before check in time and gave me access to the apartment the minute it was ready.

We stayed for one night in a junior suite, which was well appointed and spacious. EMA House has more of an apartment type feel than a traditional hotel, even down to the physical key rather than card needed to get to the correct floor and access the room. If you're arriving by train it's about a 20 minute walk. Breakfast is delivered to the room as they don't have a communal eating area. The beds were comfortable if not slightly on the firmer side, which I personally prefer. The main bathroom was large. Overall the room was modern and felt like staying in a luxe apartment. We'd consider staying here again.

Very clean, cosy, modern hotel-appartments!! Location is perfect, with nice views, next to river, 15min. walk to city center (or 5 min tram, tram stop is infront of a hotel). Beds are very comfortable, linens, bathrobes, all organic shower/bath products and delishios breakfast served every morning as a room service (included in price), ...it all levels up to 5 stars from me! The appartments are niew, very well mantained, with airco, very good isolation, very quiet. Exceptional personnel at check in, all very attentive snd helpful, thanks a lot! As a family with 2 kids, we really enjoyed staing with you!

The apartment is excellent, my stay has been long and I have felt at home. They have many details, infusions, coffee and much more. In the kitchen there is everything to cook with an oven, including a dishwasher and a washing machine, and everything is new and clean. The maintenance staff is very helpful and pleasant. The attention of the administration staff has been very good and efficient. I'm sure that I will return again.

Room came with basic necessities (ironing board, iron, kitchen utensils, dishwasher soap, toilet rolls, paper towels, salt and pepper etc). It felt like I was home right away. The location was brilliant, it's a residential neighbourhood close to the lake but really close to shops, restaurants and banks etc. The hosts were super helpful and responsive. The flat was cleaned every other day. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to staying here again.

Very nice apartments in a good location, you can easily walk to the center and main train station. The apartments have everything you could need.
One thing which was unclear, was what time the rooms would be cleaned - the cleaning service woke us up one time by coming into our room at 8 am.
Our apartment was on the ground floor, and every night there were children running in the apartment upstairs, I would recommend asking for an upper floor apartment if you want to have a quiet night.

EMA House Hotel Suites is located near the main train station (1km or 2 tram stop). It has 23 services apartment that are very nice decorated and quiet large. The staff is helpful and friendly. Georgious in-room breakfast served in the room. I like the space in the apartment. TV with international channels, coffee machine and free WIFI are included. It was a bit cold inside but at the end i was pleased with my stay. Very convenient for business trip. Highly recommended.

The apartment we had stayed at was pretty brand new. We were very happy with its quality and location. Everything from their amenities to their appliances were of high quality. The shower had a rain showerhead that had one of the best water pressure we had experienced. Even the lobby and elevator area was nice. It was a really pleasant stay.
There were some really minor thing that might improve the next person's stay. The apartment we had chosen was a loft, it would have been better in our situation if there was a curtain closing off the loft area at night so if we were to use the kitchen in the shared area, the noise wouldn't bother the people staying in the loft area. Providing one hair dryer in each bathroom so it didn't have to be shared. Provide at least 2 laundry pods since there are 2 rooms and the washer/ dryer is not big enough for a big load of laundry. And maybe offer a fan for people staying in the room since there main AC unit is only located out in the main area. We tried opening the windows but too many little fruit flies flying into the apartment.

Located across the Limmat on a hill overlooking Zurich HBF, it’s a little tricky to locate the hotel if you walk along Limmat as you’ll need to cut across a building to access the main entrance and we got it confused with EMA Serviced Apartments. Will be easier to take tram 11 from Zurich Hbf which stops just outside the hotel. The same tram 11 brings you to the old town in less than 10mins! Check in was east and fuss free. The suite comes with 1 bedroom with large double bed and enclosed bathroom, and a sofa bed in the living room with enclosed powder room. The suite was spotless and smelled lovely with a light fragrance that’s not overwhelming. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, induction stove, microwave oven and oven. A pity there is only 1 WC in the powder room, none in the bathroom. Apart from this, the suite is perfect! You can even get the team tickets at the front desk team who’s always ready to help with a smile! Highly recommended!

Thank you very much for your interest in EMA House and your question. All our Executive 1-Bedroom and 2-Bedroom Suites and some of our Junior Suites are equipped with an in-room washer-dryer. There are some Junior Suites with no in-room washer-dryer, but guests of these rooms have the possibility to use the washing machines and dryers of our common laundry in the basement which is available 24/7. Thank you for your question. We do not have an in house fitnes, however just few meters away locates a evo fitness you offer exceptionally for our guests daily passes. For summer sports enthusiasts, the river Limmat offers great swimming possibilities just outside our hotel.

Soundproof is lame. The A/C is not really an issue to worry about. It is summer/2018 in Zurich as I am writing this. I can assure the portable air conditioner works enough well.

As we have a lot of different nice rooms, we cannot guarantee in advance that you will get a room with balcony.
We have two differents type of rooms: Junior suites and executive suites. The executive Suite has a bed room separeted from the living room and is therefore bigger than the Junior Suite.
