While on business trip i booked a room for a single night, which was very easy also directly over the hotel site. Upon arrival easy parking in the parking for approx 24CHF/night, fast check in with friendly service people. Clean, but a bit small room - just for the night a perfect solution. Bar 24h open with all kind of drinks, restaurant also is breakfast corner all-in-one. Breakfast was simple, but fresh and tasty. Free wifi and once to mention again the friendly staff makes this hotel a good choice for short trips. Will come again!

Neighborhood was interesting with a lot of eating options nearby and convenient public transportation. We originally had reservations with the Novotel next door but IBIS had better accessibility options. We were able to smoothly transfer our reservation from one hotel to the other sister hotel. The breakfast was fine and staff was fine. We were able to get connecting rooms for our family to all stay together. Air conditioning was much better than in other cities where we stayed in Switzerland.

Well, it's an Ibis, so you get a basic, no-frills semi-budget hotel experience. This particular Ibis is not exactly cheap, but for Zurich, the price is reasonable. It was clean and comfortable enough. Normally, I would give a hotel of this kind four or even five points if the value for money ratio is good, but there were some things I wasn't quite happy with. Particularly the air conditioning, it was too noisy to keep it switched on during the night, but this meant a quite cold room. So, in my room, I could choose between warmth and quietness, but couldn't have both. Then, before checkout, the room key card stopped working after breakfast, which was also an inconvenience. Furthermore, there were loudly talking people passing by my room in the night, which is of course rather these inconsiderate people than the hotel are to blame for. Breakfast was small, but there were freshly cooked eggs, it was fine. The hotel is in an area of Zurich that's considered quite trendy, a former industrial quarter. It's a strange Swiss mix of gritty- and cleanliness.

What instigated the terrible rating about this hotel is as follows:
What kind of establishment does refurbishments drilling and such on the same floors as where guests are staying!
Further to that, I left the room in the morning, came back a few hours later, found out workers had entered my room to remove a piece of furniture, threw all my things on the ground!!
Aside from that, staff are extremely rude. At the restaurant, the waitress was looking at me like I didn't belong, in a "why are you making me work by being here?" kind of way.
Do something Accor, replace management.
I'm never staying at an ibis again. Cancelling my loyalty card.

Was here for one night before flying home to Florida. We had our 12 and 9 year old. The family room is ok. Bathroom is tiny. Hotel is a bit worn with chipped paint. We are from Florida and like a strong AC until and this was not strong at all and when we showered the humidity went into the room making it feel warmer. The are of this hotel is a business area. So on Sunday absolutely nothing is open. Not even a grocery store. We are at flave downstairs. Food was totally fine and even good. But not $100 good. My kids each got an order of chicken fingers and fries off of the kids menu for 14 Frank’s each. I got a Cesar salad for 25 franks and my husband got a veggie Berger for 27 Frank’s. The total bill was 80 franks which is almost $100! Everything in Switzerland is expensive. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and the train goes direct to the airport. Breakfast is 19 franks for each adult and 8 franks for the kids each. Tons of cafes in the area open on Monday which is what we chose to do instead but still wasn’t very cheap. Overall the hotel is fine. Nothing great and a little worn but fine.

I had a very long stay at the hotel. There were constant problems with the booking. First I was told it had been cancelled, then I was offered an overnight stay at a price more expensive than my booking. Then I was incorrectly invoiced for my stay (still the error has not been fixed).... There was terrible hotel service almost every day. Staff was not willing to help at all. Breakfast modest and the same every day. Scrambled eggs terrible. The only thing I can say positive about the hotel, that the cleaning service was perfect.

Basic interior. Small rooms- very cramped. 5 hanger in open wardrobe.
Air conditioning would not cool room down so had to open window all night then shut at 6am due to noise . No Tea and Coffee facility in room. Wash basic valve was stuck. One pillow per bed. 7 minute walk to Hardbrucke station. Front desk was efficient. Close to restaurants.

The hotel has a pleasant standard, is clean and well maintained. You rooms are relatively small but have space for a large bed, a desk, a small bench and an open corner cupboard.
Staff at reception are multilingual.
The lobby shares the hotel with the Novotel or there is a passage to the Novotel. The hotel has an underground car park (I didn't use it myself).
On foot you are in just over 10 minutes at HardbrĂĽck station. Bus and tram also run nearby.
There are a few restaurants within walking distance, a Starbucks and a Co-op are also within easy reach.

If you take Tram #4 from Bahnhofquai towards Bahnhof Nord (the latter is the final destination, not where you get off), and exit at Schifbau, you'll be two blocks from the hotel. While the trams can get crowded at certain times, other riders will usually make room for people with luggage.
Or there are about nine S-Bahn trains that leave the Bahnhof towards Hardbrucke Station. Exit there -- the first stop for these S-Bahn trains -- and you'll be a few blocks from this hotel.
