The location is great, and adequate for the (pricey) location. But the absence of anywhere to put a laptop, (there was not even the tiniest of table in the room!) meant that it had to rest on the floor, which in the presence of children is entirely inadequate. Also, for a stay extending over several nights, there was not enough hanging/storing space for clothes. The tap was broken and the floor dirty. All in all a nice room, in a great location. But the issues raised here (somewhere to put a laptop on an even surface off the ground; Fixing the tap; cleaning the floor) should be addressed.

My first and quite good experience with easyHotel in Zurich made. Close transport links, walk to the Löwenbräu stop in a good 5min. and then by streetcar you are in Zurich city in 15min. or by train which stops directly opposite in about 10min. At the Zurich main station. Positives: Externally very well kept and quiet area despite train tracks directly opposite it was quiet at night from the outside. Negatives: The hotel is very brighthörig and you can hear the room neighbors at the evening bed sport. The shower or bathroom is very small. Reminds me of the staff cabin shower you shared with your cabin neighbor. The shower stall still holds the water in the stall, you could theoretically leave the stall door open and the water doesn't run off fast enough so this almost always overflows. For three nights, the price-performance ratio was still good. Would book here again when I visit Zurich.

The location of the hotel is really nice, it is just next to the train station Zürich Wipkingen and almost on the bank of the River Limmat. Due to the location you can reach anywhere without any hassle which is an obvious advantage for the first time visitor in Zurich. The price range of this hotel is just in the Average or Cheap range in contrast to other hotel in Zurich.

Very bad experience with EasyHotel Zurich West. Extremely hot room, railway line and building work outside therefore not optimal to ventilate through window either. Was greeted by a dirty toilet and no toilet brush. Contacted the hotel and was told that this was unlikely to be the case and that we should have paid for a more expensive hotel if we expected a toilet brush (...?) and a higher standard. Called back and spoke to someone from management who said they would send someone to look into this case. They never did this. We therefore called again after coming home from a late dinner, and they said we could change rooms. We therefore packed up our things and went down to reception as agreed. Was then told that this was not the case and there was nothing they could do. Such things are extremely provocative and would probably, as they themselves also recommend, "pay more if you want a more fancy hotel".. When I arrived the self check in process was fine and worked well, except I checked in after 3pm as is allowed but when I arrived to my room it hadn’t been cleaned … like AT ALL. Rubbish in the bins, towels dirty, bed linen dirty and all over the place, one curtain was torn down, dust as though it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks let alone days. No reception means you can’t contact anyone. I messaged easyHotel, they said go to the non existent reception. I cleaned the sheets myself in the washing machine provided. Only two days later when the cleaners came by did they explain I should’ve called the number on the check in area wall. Why? They hadn’t even received a request to clean this room . Terrible service and no help. Then I had a group of young lads running around and screaming all night on our floor. I saw through the peep hole they were half naked and banging on doors. in this expensive city, we have to evaluate the hotel relatively. No staff, self check-in, room ok, clean. Beds ok. Nice hotel just to sleep. You can walk through the beautiful river to city center!!! Not good sound insulation from other rooms. plus is the washing machine and dryer.

Basic room, smallish but enough. Comfy bed & great shower, was clean & safe, all I require! Did however have free guest laundry and sold detergent in lobby ... Bonus! Self check in & check out, super easy! Lockers for luggage storage if needed.

Clean and modern rooms in an expensive city. With no breakfast but with a selfservice food and drinks machine. No chair or table in the room. We loved the self check-in machines. Very close to the train station (50 m.) and good train connection to the town (5 min. for Zurich Main Station).

We stayed in this hotel for the location and we were so disappointed. The room was so small and there are no spaces or shelves to put even the smaller of items. But the worse was the bed. It was so Uncomfortable. Inclined in a funny angle and hard like a rock. The bathroom was impossible. You could not even wash your face on the sink without splashing all over because it was so tiny. The shower had long hairs on the drain which was disgusting. The walls are thin so we could hear when anyone flushed their toilets in their rooms. And then you could hear for hours the water dripping when the toilet tanks were getting refilled. The check in is easy and fast. Just a machine. But the receipt after checking in says that if you have a problem with the room there is nothing you can do. You simply cannot change and can call customer service only if there is noise at night or an emergency. Because the building is not staffed we had to leave with an entrance covered in vomit for three days because nobody comes to check the facilities on a regular basis. A terrible experience. Do not waste your money and stay somewhere else.
