After having booked the three bedroom apartment several months prior, I learned two days before my trip to Switzerland that the apartment would not be ready. It was then necessary to spend most of the day speaking with Anna at the apartment and the booking agent to find a three bedroom apartment at the last minute. Viadukt did offer accommodations with lower reviews in another location. After a very stressful day Viadukt finally agreed that the original reservation would be honored.
As our flight was arriving early in the morning, we were told we would be able to leave our luggage at the hotel until check-in. When we arrived Anna suggested we leave our luggage unattended in a common area near the entrance. When we objected she finally agreed to secure our luggage.
The apartment is in a quaint residential part of town. Our apartment overlooked a park. Noise was never an issue. There are many restaurants and public transportation options nearby. It is very easy to reach the Old Town. The beds were comfortable and each room had its own climate control. The shower had lots of hot water and good pressure.

As soon as we arrived in the apartment we were bothered by an extremely strong smell of tobacco which permeated all the rooms, the bed fabrics and the textiles in the apartment. It was not just a recently smoked cigarette, but an apartment in which a smoker had stayed for an extended period of time. We also found plenty of cigarette burn marks on the floor and on the sofa.
The apartment was very dirty: the bedspreads were covered in stains, the sofa was covered in stains, the headboards were covered in stains, the kitchen table was dirty, the hob was dirty and sticky. There was even dirty laundry in the washing machine in the apartment!
The room also did not correspond to the description given on the rental site: half of the furniture was missing, most of the decorations had been removed (curtains, paintings, etc.), no equipment as advertised. A lot of things were broken in the apartment: broken mirror, lock for the broken bathroom, broken cupboard doors in the bathroom, hole in the middle of the hall floor, the hanging hook half broken on the wall, burnt towel on the kitchen, burn mark on the sofa and so on.
We had requested by email a parking space for our car. The hotel has confirmed to us that a place has been reserved for us. When we arrived, no space was available and we were asked to park on the street.
Traveling with two children, we decided to leave the establishment after contacting a manager to explain the situation and offer to pay for the first night. We were guaranteed a refund.
Since then, our multiple contacts by email and SMS have gone unanswered.

Nicely placed, 20 min walk from train station, you get a modern apartment to stay for a weekend. But... the apartment building is located right by the railroad, lots of disturbing neighbours (Friday night). The apartment was also not very clean, garbage in the bin, hair in the bed, no power cable to the TV. Small things but It takes the first impression down. Maybe bad luck??

I recommend to avoid this place. They didn’t provide an entry code before arrival, double booked an apartment that I booked, gave us another one, smaller and it smelled with smoke (who smokes inside of a rented apartment these days? and the worst part that my kid has an allergic reaction to smoke) promised to move us next day, informed us about double booking next morning, accepted their mistake, offered free cancellation (so I can’t leave them a review on booking.com because I didn’t stay there by their record), charged me on a spot for one night that was one third of the original booking for a much smaller place and told me I should be happy that they didn’t charge me for cancellation.

Because of the great location I was hoping to book an apartment last year and then again for our upcoming trip this summer. Both times I was ready to book with them, and both times, they stopped responding to my emails. Because I couldn't reach them anymore by email or phone, I asked my sister in Zurich to call for me. The woman who answered (Anna?) was very rude and hung up on my sister. Maybe it's better this all happened before we paid them!

Very basic apartment, smelly Lack of kitchen utensils The whole night a lot of people in the flats underneath us (and in the staircase!) were partying, making a lot of noise, shouting, arguing and screaming. We could even smell the drugs they were using!! The next morning the staircase was full of drinks, empty bottles and a horrible smell. We called the staff (who had been very nice to us the day before), but the only thing she could say was that she couldn't do anything for us!! For us it's clear that this place is used to have such youngsters who want to party and using drugs. Never again for us!!

Schlüssellbox hat nicht funktioniert, nur mit Hilfe. Man musste ganz eine andere Nummer eingeben als in der Bestätigungsmail angegeben. Das Zimmer war eine ziemliche Bruchbude, Spiegel am Schrank zerbrochen , Nachttisch kaputt, Flecken am Leintuch, nur 1 kleines Handtuch für 3 Nächte. Gemeinschaftsbad und WC wär Verbesserungswürdig was Sauberkeit und Hygiene betrifft. Schilder angebracht Rauchen verboten, es wurde geraucht. Das ganze Appartement und unser Zimmer hat nach Rauch gestunken. Das Zimmer und allgemein hatte einen sehr muffigen, rauchigen Gestank, ohne Lüften- und es war kalt- ging gar nichts. Kopfschmerzen vom Rauch und Gestank bekommen. Fotos im Internet mit unserem Zimmer hat absolut nicht überein gestimmt. Die Fotos seien von den oberen - teureren - Appartements.. das sollte so auch auf den Portalen ersichtlich sein. Das klappte bisher immer, für jede Reise in jedem Land in dem ich gebucht habe. Aber in Europa, in der Schweiz in einer Weltstadt wie Zürich nicht? Peinlich auch für andere Touristen wenn sie so einen Eindruck von der teuren Schweiz bekommen. Wir würden nicht nochmal hingehen und können es nicht weiterempfehlen.
