Inspired by the contrasts between banking and the red-light district, between art and capitalism, the designer Werner Aisslinger and his team have created a self-contained microcosm in the direct vicinity of Zurich Central Station: the 25hours Hotel Langstrasse. The legendary Langstrasse is a melting pot of cultures and lifestyles. Regularly changing resident artists work in and on the hotel, ensuring a steady flow of creative input. At the heart of the hotel is the Molcho family’s NENI restaurant with its eclectic brand of eastern Mediterranean cuisine. The Cinchona Bar upholds the tradition of day drinking – with highballs & music and a wide selection of fortified wines. 170 rooms • Mini-bar • Safe • UE Boom Bluetooth speaker • Free WiFi throughout the building • Free MINI rental • Free Schindelhauer bikes • NENI Restaurant • Cinchona Bar • 1 function room • Pawn shop • Audio Tape Lounge • Gambling & Business corner • Jogging corner • Sauna & gym • Kein&Aber kiosk •

Nestled in a vibrant location, 25hours Hotel Langstrasse garners praise for its proximity to local attractions and transport links. While the hotel boasts a trendy, retro atmosphere and spacious, uniquely decorated rooms that have charmed many guests, it seems that the housekeeping could be improved, with several guests noting the need for cleaner towels and more vigilant cleaning. The service receives mixed reviews for its friendliness but noted inconsistency.
Furthermore, travelers question the value, citing high costs for some services. Amenities like the quirky decor are appreciated, though the effectiveness of the air conditioning has been brought into question by some guests.

the best choice! the hotel it’s really nice, staff is amazing. I can’t understand why people say that it’s noisy, was noisy at first because I let the window open lol but when I closed it become silent and perfect to sleep. The restaurant it’s also amazing! I asked for a late checkout and they allowed it without any additional cost

25hours Langgasse Zürich is a modern, young, pleasant, clean, open-minded and total feel-good place to stay (I am not young, but I feel like it at 25hours).
Breakfast is a real high-light I am already looking forward to when I go to bed the evening before.
The best however is the friendliness of the staff. I am a complicated client as I do usually ask for changing the duvet from feathers to allergen free just the moment of arrival. The team at the reception always finds a way to change the duvet and they never let me feel awkward about it. I absolutely love that team! (... nevertheless I promised to identify myself in the future (bookings are done by my client in Zürich), so the bed can be prepared right before my arrival)

This hotel was recommended by our primary hotel in the countryside. The hotel is your traditional "hip" hotel--very small rooms, "instagramable", shop in the lobby. Out of the hip hotels that I have stayed in, this one is very nice! Sauna was great, easy walk to/from the the main train station, surprisingly quiet. My favorite part of the hotel was that they let me check in early (830am). I had just come in from an overnight flight and really wanted a shower, sometimes hotels don't let you check in before check in time, but they were quick to give me a room.

The deco and the design are wonderful. But is it enough for this standing of rate…?
No room cleaning even if asked, an important point of the reservation (written) not even seen by the staff, no lactose free or gluten free corner at the breakfast: if you ask, you obtain soy milk, a staff quite not experimented.
Young, trendy, nice… that’s it

Dear Allezyvoir Thank you for allowing us to count you as our guests and for taking the time to share your impressions and experiences with us. We regret that you consider our breakfast as limited. Freshness and high quality is our utmost aim and therefore it is our intention, to present our breakfast products in small quantities but frequently replenish them. Moreover we always try to meet every food request of our customers. We hope you will give us another chance on another occasion. We would be very happy about another visit from you. Very well located. Less then 5 minutes walk from the main station, not more than 10 from the commercial and historical districts.
The rooms are spacious. One enters through the bathroom but that is rather a good idea because it leaves a lot of space for the bedroom beyond the all-glass shower. A curtain can separate the 2. But there is little space to hang and store a couple's clothes and one needs to leave a part in the suitcases and slide them under the bed.
The design concept claims a subtle mix of antinomic worlds...Therefore you will have colour pencils and a comforter for your inner child. The lobby is small and cluttered with bikes, tricycles and a kiosk of overpriced useless items that we have always seen empty and unattended during the 4 days of our stay. In the evening the bar area is overfilled with a young crowd shouting over the very loud music. We were missing a quiet space to enjoy a drink. A manager at the reception was less than helpful to allow us a quiet spot in the restaurant that was then almost empty by 11 pm.
The restaurant proposes oriental food. We found the prices affordable relative to the swiss standard but the dishes were primitively overspiced, the flavours of the ingredients completely lost. The worst dinner we had since a long time.
As long as you enjoy the spacy room, maybe colour pencils, and the easy access to the sights and shops of Zürich, it could be a convenient choice.

Grüezi cbras Thank you for allowing us to count you as our guests and for taking the time to share your impressions and experiences with us. We are sorry that your stay with us was not to your complete satisfaction. The deficiencies described by you do not correspond with our standard and we will discuss the points internally. With the design of the 25hours Hotel Langstrasse we do not seem to have met your taste. As one of our slogans says: "you know one, you know none", maybe one of our properties in Hamburg, Frankfurt or Berlin rather appeals to you? That would be great. We hope very much that we get another chance to welcome you in one of our 25hours hotels, to leave a second first impression. Best regards, Luisa von Flüe Assistant Front Office Manager

I knew I would have a great experience from the reservation stage. Ramona, was extremely attentive with email exchanges and ensured expedited responses. The room was amazing! I booked the Transportation Suite which, even though it sits directly on the train station, is quiet, spacious, comprises a turn table, a bicycle and large work desk. Retro, modern and comfortable. My only issue is, in 2 days for gym, no one cleaned or replaced the towels and glassware. I understand HK may be suspended by public areas cannot be neglected. Will be back.

Loved our stay and so happy we chose this hotel. After extensive research we booked a superior room at 25hours for 6 nights and it was a perfectly sized room, huge shower, but comfortable bed for 2 people and all the amenities that we needed. Despite the other reviews about the AC- it was cold and very comfortable,so we had no issues. Big bonus points: good sized mini bar stocked with free (!) products. We always like to have a mini fridge for some fruit and water when traveling and this was a perfect space for that. The free water, beer, soda, chips and chocolate inside the mini bar was a welcome surprise. Not only that but they will refill it for free too-just ask! The coffee and tea maker inside the room is very convenient. The room had lots of little details that we have not seen in other hotels. You could use their Polaroid for pictures, just huh the film downstairs! The 7th floor has a sauna, gym and a gorgeous view to the train tracks. There are many good restaurants nearby and nice coffee shops, plus the train station is a short walk away. The staff was nice and helpful.
They don’t clean the room unless you request it at the front desk in an effort to protect the environment. Great initiative but maybe would have preferred if we could place a sign outside the door to request a service (not sure if that’s an option). We simply forget to ask before heading out for adventures!
Overall loved the stay and will return if we come back to Zurich!

A lot of memorable details in rooms make me feel good. Refilling bath bottles and cleaning room only after request are nice, it means that you spend less resources and don't produce too much waste. Also it was the first place, were I tried to make filter coffee myself, because they provide everything you need. It was really easy and tasty.

We spent four nights in this hotel and our experience was positive overall. Although some aspects could be improved, given the price of the room, others were much appreciated.
Let's start with the positive aspects: The hotel's location is excellent, a ten-minute walk from the train station, with plenty of dining and nightlife options nearby. The room was comfortable, clean and the free minibar was much appreciated, even if it wasn't replenished during our stay (we'll come back to it later). The hotel also offers various services which we weren't able to take advantage of, but which seem to be a good plus. We'd also like to thank the team for their warm welcome and small kindnesses. Many thanks to the team!
There are, however, a few aspects that could be improved, notably the service. We noticed a difference between weekends and weekdays, when service was smoother, especially in the restaurant. For breakfast, which was included in the price, we sometimes had to wait a while before being greeted, which could be a little frustrating. What's more, some dishes were regularly sold out well before the scheduled time, which was a little disappointing. As for the room, daily cleaning was not systematically done and had to be requested, which may be surprising given the price. For the same reason, the minibar was not restocked. Finally, a little more warmth and politeness from the staff would not go amiss; a simple hello in passing would make the welcome more pleasant.
In conclusion, our stay was pleasant overall, even if a few adjustments would be desirable. With a little more attention, kindness and more regular service (room cleaning and minibar), this hotel could really stand out. We intend to return one day and believe that these “details” will have been corrected.

The 25 Hours hotel Zurich Langstrasse is ideally located within walking distance from the train station.
The rooms are stylish and neatly furnished and decorated (loved the bluetooth speaker, coffee, electric blinds, glazed shower and the window bench seat).
Despite the hotel being next to railways, the building is perfectly soundproofed, we didn’t here a single train.
Our only disappointment was that a private event was happening at the bar so we didn’t get to enjoy a drink upon our arrival (on a Friday evening).
