Staying during this strange time of COVID, we enjoyed the experience thoroughly. A clean hotel with all the facilities you need. The gym is small but suffice to get a training session in. The location of the Hotel is excellent with ease to everything. A nice roof top bar very close by also. The restaurant and the staff we really enjoyed. Nice Thai food menu and great ambiance. It would be nice to enjoy out with COVID with the bar in full swing also. Breakfast was good - help yourself service. A great experience with nothing negative to say and would definitely return. Parking locally for the night is 28chf

In the middle of the Covid crisis, we had the chance to benefit from a tremendous experience at the restaurant "Le Jardin Thaï". Thanks to discounted fares on rooms, we could really enjoyed to escape for one night. The Tom Yam soup, as well as their Pad Thai specialty were absolutely delightful and we can only recommend it. Again, thanks to the whole team for their kindness and respect of sanitary rules!

I had to spend a night in Lausanne because of an early morning medical appointment. I needed an early night and a good sleep. I also needed to work online that night. On arriving in my room I was surprised to find I could hear a noisy conversation coming from another room ( someone else working online? ) As soon as I told the receptionists they immediately came to check and offered me another room. They couldn’t have been more helpful. The new room was comfortable and spacious. It had a double bed but, if I had been sharing with someone I would have found it annoying to have a bathroom with only a glass partition - how does one use the bathroom without the light disturbing the other sleeper? Seems like bad design to me. Ditto the noisy sliding doors for the wardrobe which also holds the mini bar and safe - noisy and awkward to manipulate .I could hear the door of the people above me, though nothing else, that’s how noisy it was. Bed was very comfortable and all facilities in the room were good - except for the desk chair which had a hole in the seat with something sharp protruding(!!) I used the sauna which was fine, though the shower had a weird , crazy way of spraying the water and the light went off automatically of its own accord mid- shower ( a bit dangerous?) But hey, everything worked :-) All in all, a comfortable stay in a weirdly designed hotel . Top marks to the staff who were helpful, friendly and very welcoming in a totally unstuffy way. That makes all the difference

Nice location, close to the orthodox church and the main market. Clean and comfortable rooms, connecting rooms for kids available, Sleepers available upon request at reception. No parking for the hotel clients but there is nearby independent parking with payment 2 CHF/hr. Hotel mgt should make agreement with the parking for its clients. Very small and not easily accessible gym. It should be renovated and change place. Good breakfast but open up to 10:30 am. Very kind personnel at reception.

This is my second stay at Hotel Alpha-Palmiers and both times I was very satisfied. Rooms are comfortable & service pleasant. Only drawback is that the rooms can be a bit dark especially the bathroom. Very good location, walking distance to the railway station & high street.
