My father and I visited in June and had rooms on the 13th floor. The views were truly amazing and far outweighed any other aspect of the stay (although actually that was very good too). The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds very comfortable. Our rooms and en-suites were in very good condition with excellent showers/baths and we felt there was nothing to query. There was a fan for the hot weather but no air conditioning (I think this is the case). Each room has a balcony and table/chairs with fully opening sliding doors to access. The hotel itself is a tall old fashioned tower but I guess that doesn't matter once you are on the inside. The top floor restaurant has panoramic views through wrap around windows (and an outside terrace). Very good food IMO and we really enjoyed our week there. Would definitely return.…

This hotel is located in the heart of Interlaken. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The minibar offers a good variety of products. There is a rooftop restaurant with good food and a very nice view to the mountains. Would come back there.

I stayed for 2 nights and stayed on the 13th floor where the views were incredible. There were paragliders circling close by and the weather was gorgeous. There is lots to do in Interlaken so staying at the Metropole is a useful base. The breakfast had lots of variety of hot and cold and the staff including reception were professional. Would thoroughly recommend Metropole Hotel. You won't be disappointed. Made use of the lounge where you can chill and enjoy complimentary hot drinks. Was tempted to use the gym and sauna but preferred to chill out instead. Thank you Marco and your team for making my stay enjoyable.

Its a good place at a very beautiful spot. The only minus thing was that there should be a kettle in the rooms instead of having in the Spa lounge. The lounge is not the best- its not warm since there are no heaters there and in the evening the lighting is also bad. I would suggest to work on these things.

Safe for the solo or female traveler. Clean. Nice rooms. Reception staff was incredible with advice and just their service and help. Only issue was that they are under renovation so sleeping late (after 930AM) is not an option. The first day due to jet lag it was a pain, but it worked out coz it forced me to be up and about and Interlaken is too beautiful to spend sleeping anyway, jet lag or not. :)

Walking distance from most parts of the city. Fantastic view as it is the highest building in the area. Renovated rooms are modern and spacious. Located on the main road, at the shopping area next to many restaurants.

I have been visiting Interlaken since 1996 and and for the last 20 years stayed in this wonderful hotel . breakfast quality is not impressive and absolute repetative and any fresh cooking is chargeable
