What an amazing hotel! My stay was Superb. The hotel facilities were great, room fully equipped. The bed was super comfortable, actually the entire room was very cozy, nicely decorated, very well cleaned, all properly disinfected, the fig shower gel is amazing. The location, I couldn’t have asked for a better location, it is in the middle of the old town, you walk outside the hotel and the lake is on the right hand side right in-front of you. The staff were super nice, friendly, smiling and helpful and I mean all of them, including the kitchen staff. Breakfast is nicely done and very fresh as well. I have nothing negative to say about the hotel, I was well treated there, the receptionist saw how tired I was after a long drive from Lugano and she was very patient with us. I definitely stay here again next time.

A cozy, comfy and quiet boutique hotel in Old Town. Basic buffet breakfast with cereals, coffee or tea, juices, yogurt, bread, cold meats and cheeses, hard-boiled eggs. The hotel houses an Italian restaurant serving lunch and dinner which also allows access to hotel reception and rooms.
Room 501 is under a dormer and has a private sundeck with partial river view. The bathroom is compact with shower stall under a dormer, so if you are tall you may have to stoop a bit.
A 10 min. walk from train station, tho map directions were somewhat confusing--a better route is after crossing Seebrucke bridge, take immediate right on Rathausquai (along river), follow until Da Ernesto's restaurant, and make immediate right just after.

This very nice hotel has a perfect location. In the old town only a few walks away from the river, where you have lots of beautiful ancient buildings and lots of good restaurants. Also lots of shopping possibilities. The bed is very comfortable and large. I am a bad sleeper, but in this bed I slept like a rose. What you need to know is that the reception sends you an email with a code, so you can check-in into your room when there is nobody at the reception desk. Unfortunately we had not seen this email because we have no roaming and had switched off our mobile phones. Luckily, we found someone from the staff in the building and they helped us to the room. Tip: I don't know if this email can be sent a day earlier to the guests? Then we would have read it when we were in Italy where we do have roaming. Other than that very nice and quiet stay. I forgot my earrings, and the staff made sure they were sent to my homeland. I even received chocolates with the letter! Therefore many thanks and a rating of 5 stars for this hotel.

We were greeted with a cosy looking room, huge bed and rather spacious, in our opinion. After having visited several accomodations from Italy to Switzerland during our trip, this has to be the most unpleasant and disappointing experience! Fine if there is no air-conditioning, but the ceiling fan doesnt serve any purpose at all, being very weak regardless the speed you adjust to. There are restaurants just below the street and it can be very noisy during meal hours. Had to wait till after 11pm when the Italian restaurant closes before some peace and quiet. Also had some issues with falling asleep because it was warm and stuffy. At 2 or 3am, there were people yelling and shouting and thereafter church bells will ring every hour. Refrigerator is weak too, we had food like milk with us and not cold at all. There are tea bags provided but no kettle for boiling water?? We shared our feedback to Michael, the friendly reception staff and he apologized and said that they will look into all these issues. Only consolation is that the hotel is in a prime location.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for a week while on our honeymoon .
Centrally placed in Lucerne. The room on the first floor was fabulous, and we felt that the sounds of nearby restaurants and the church bells added to the overall ambience of our stay. Everything we needed in our room, which was kept immaculate by the lovely staff each day.
We had a lovely time and would love to go back one day.
Thank you 😊

Such a quaint, charming hotel. The hotel staff was so nice and very helpful. They gave great restaurant suggestions, directions to sites and answered any other questions we had. The location could not have been any more perfect. It is located on the river by the oldest wooden, covered bridge in Europe. There is some street noise but not enough to cause an issue. Highly recommend this hidden jewel.

This is a lovely hotel, very well located centrally in Lucerne within a few steps from the Chapel Bridge. It is in a beautiful part of the town. Our room was a little on the small side, but very comfortable: good comfy bed, nice shower room. We were made very welcome. This is a perfect base for a sightseeing visit to Lucerne and we would recommend it highly. Special mention for the lovely coffee machine :-) Could the hotel confirm the brand of coffee supplied? We would love to get some to use at home. A superb stay.

Our stay was great. We stayed in one of the smaller double rooms and it was plenty of space for my husband and I. This is truly a great location. We were minutes from restaurants, most of the sights in Old Town and the train station. The cost was very reasonable for the location and the niceness of the rooms and hotel. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel as well as the Italian Restaurant they operate that is next door. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. I looked at several hotels in Old Town and was extremely happy with this choice,

Room 105, facing the alley. Sofa, armchair made of leather or similar material, not particularly comfortable because everything slips. A metal chair!!!!! We have never seen anything like it in 30 years of traveling. Very small bedside table, no storage space. Bed + mattress OK. 3 coat hangers for 2 people, very little storage space, no drawers, no air conditioning, in good weather, facing the city, very noisy until the early hours.
Room clean.
Shower, toilet: quite large. Shower unfortunately with very impractical swing door, very clean.
Reception: very friendly, informative,
Location: in the middle of Lucerne, pizzeria as a restaurant..., no breakfast
Aimed at tourists who stay for a maximum of 2 or 3 days
Conclusion: OK for 2.3 days, no longer

This was a very convenient with newly upgraded decor hotel. Beds were very comfortable. A plus to have a Nespresso machine. The Chinese restaurant they recommended had great authentic Chinese food. Shower had instant hot water. We love the hotel.

From the outside there are no architectural barriers. The restaurant is accessible from the street and the hotel lobby from a side street wich is a bit inclined but flat
They charged your credit card twice, have yet to credit you, and threatened to get back at you if your bad review damages their reputation. Wow! They just damaged their own reputation with an unprofessional response and by threatening a customer.
