They are close proximity to everything- city, train, bus. We enjoyed their breakfast buffet which included made-to-order omelets, an amazing array of teas and coffee options, along with pastries, fresh fruit, and many other option Our waitress was terrific. Our room was clean and spacious with a balcony to sit on overlooking the water and city- heaven. We would choose this hotel again.

Great experience! This hotel is located on a hill above the city, take a funicular from the lobby to the street, where you can walk to the city center or catch transportation. The room was comfortable and roomy. Mini bar and coffee maker included. I especially loved the spacious bathroom, with freestanding tub and bath salts. Gorgeous views of the city and balcony were so enjoyable. Great place to stay! And the breakfast restaurant had beautiful big windows with views of the city and lake.

Very nice rooms with a friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in a good location. Nice bar and staff with good entertainment. The restaurant was excellent. Great overall experience and I would highly recommend the Montana.

This is a very nice hotel with a great restaurant on a fantastic location with stunning views over the lake Lucerne. There are a few minuses: temperature in the rooms is too high, no connection to VPN possible and breakfast starts only at 7 am.

Breakfast buffet was amazing! Friendly staff. Cleanliness was good. Service very slow in the lounge. Room didn’t have proper climate control—A/C not allowed below 19C No hair conditioner supplied with other toiletries. Friendly staff. We had a beautiful view from our balcony.

stayed for a night in Lucerne. Book a room with lake view, the room was a bit outdated but very spacious especially the bathroom with tub (unfortunately they run out bubble bath). other amenity was just ok.

From the funicular ride up to the main lobby to the down comforters in the room, a stay at the Montana is luxury defined. The view from our room’s balcony alone was worth it - an ever-changing vista of the city and the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was also incredible!
