We chose this hotel based on the pictures we saw on internet and for the location.
When we arrived there, we were warmly welcomed by Kay who took the time to show us several different rooms to help us make up our minds.
Everything was perfect, would highly recommend.
Special Bravo to Kay for his recommandations and kindness that made all the difference !!
We’ll be back.

Great hotel with modern design. Room is spacious , service is top notch! Breakfast is superb! Everything is 5 star in this boutique hotel. Location is near to train station, you can take any bus from the hotel to the train station. And from the station take bus no 1 and stop next to the hotel. Comfortable bed, bath, view, food, service !! The receptionist that let us check in early, I forgot to ask for her name! She’s really a saviour especially we’re tired on the first day we arrive, we couldn’t believe it when she let us check in at 10.00am! Thumbs up for her !!

Chose this place after reading reviews online but what a pleasant surprise! Its actually such a chic and pretty hotel! Staff were really friendly, hotel manager Kay (O-kay) was really helpful and funny, had a chat with him and he really makes us feel so welcomed.
The room is very well appointed, nice colours, they even let you borrow a trendy haversack when you go out for your trip.
Breakfast was amazing! The best bacon I ever had, croissant was really fluffy and light, goes very well with the generous spread of good cheese. The ambience at the restaurant is simply beautiful...at night many locals come and have a nice meal and unwind with friends.
Location is superb, just a 5 mins walk from Lucerne main station. Highly recommended!

The staff is friendly but they have absolutely nothing to offer for vegetarians. For the breakfast, we went in the first morning just to realise that they have no warm or hot food for vegetarians. They also don't have a toaster to warm the bread and when asked they said "We're sorry, we had one but the guests misused it so we removed it" which seems reasonable. And that evening we went to the concierge to request for some vegetarian options for breakfast the next day and he starightup said "No". When I probed a little more to request, he didn't budge and kept saying "No, we don't". We were very surprised and disheartened because our request was no unreasonable at all.

So yes, really don't recommend it for anyone looking for vegan/vegetarian or any specific dietary requirements because the hotel is very inflexible.

We stayed from 11th - 13th July, 2022.

Great location and pleasant people at reception didn’t fully make my stay. When it comes to business I require certain amenities for this kind of standards : gym, toilets separate from the room with a wall at least (!!!!), room service, .... none of these are available there, probably because style and trendy atmosphere was favored over functionality.

Loved the decore, look and feel of the place. Everything was clean and tidy. I didn’t realize when I initially booked that there was no air and early August can be very hot. The location is great however on a busy street so if you want to open the windows the traffic below can be quite loud. This was the only thing I could fault about the place. Everything else was well appointed clean and great. Breakfast was included with made to order eggs and bacon! Lots to choose from. The service was great both at the restaurant and check in check out. Centrally located only a 5-10 min walk to the train station and all the attractions Lucern has to offer. Overall enjoyed our stay would recommend however do want to note the lack of AC.

The location is very convenient - 10 minute walk from the station and the ferry terminal and close to the town, you can walk everywhere. The staff were lovely, they found us some beers even when the bar was closed. They tried to be helpful but didn’t have much knowledge of local attractions etc. The woman on reception told me that you couldn’t go where we wanted to go by car and that there was only one boat a day - both turned out to be wrong. The breakfast was great with lots of choice. The decor is quirky - an interesting adaptation of an old building. We would have given the hotel a full 5 except that it is hot - our rooms were like an oven. We couldn’t leave our door open as it was on a shared balcony with other rooms, and anyway the balcony was enclosed. We had 3 rooms and none of us could sleep because of the heat. I would stay there again but not in Summer

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights and it worked out great.
Rooms are comfortable and the shower is great. There is no body cream in the bathroom but you can ask for some at the reception.

The hotel is modern / refurbished and looks nice both inside and out.

Breakfast was good.

Location is great. Less than 10 mins walk to basically anywhere u may want to go.

Only negative was eve pillows. They were very thin and poor quality. We asked for them to be changed but the replacement ones were not much better.

Pros · It is a beautifully restored building close to the old center. Several buses also take you directly to the lake. The ladies at reception were very friendly and helpful. We had a superior room with a balcony, but the busy car traffic made it difficult to relax there. An incredibly beautiful view of Mount Pilatus. The beds were good, the pillows too soft. There is a fan on request at reception. The bathroom is large, the largest we had ever encountered. A wonderful shower! Wifi was fine.
The breakfast was excellent and extensive, both hot and cold. Delicious coffee. The restaurant was also very good.

Negatives · Balconies on the street side are too noisy. The location of the hotel is good, but it is located at an intersection of very busy roads, so you cannot enjoy it quietly on the balcony. There is no air conditioning, which can be very stuffy in the room. There is no kettle and no refrigerator in the room. You can leave your goods in the hotel's general refrigerator.

Beautiful hotel! Smartly renovated combining the old traditional building with fun interior with warm colours and a playful mood. Quirky but enjoyable. It was very clean, and the mattress and pillows one of the most comfortable i have ever seen. Lovely decor in the room and the breakfast, lounge area. The breakfast was amazing in variety and quality, even with honey dripping from a bee hive. And a huge fireplace where you could sit and drink your coffee. The stuff very helpful and polite and kept our luggage when we needed to. 8-10 minutes on foot from the train station and the river and safe area since we were two females traveling. All in all it was a great choice and will stay again if ever in the area.
