The Grande Amore Hotel and Spa is a boutique hotel located in the historic city center of Florence. We were created from a desire to celebrate the joy of life that comes from a sense of community and place, coupled with a passion for hospitality and Italian design. Every element of the Grand Amore, from the Italian marble guest baths to the artisan handcrafted furniture to the carefully curated wine list, was thoughtfully designed to offer our guests the opportunity to feel like Florentines while experiencing Florence in a intimate boutique setting.

The staff made our stay in Florence a perfect 10! We literally felt like we were VIPs and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. The location was in walking distance of everything, the rooms were clean and I would absolutely stay here again.

I am extremely satisfied with the hotel team. The service was excellent. Marto and Florence helped us out. I got a sting by a sea urchin on my second day and I needed some rest on the checkout day. They arranged a doctor to visit and take out the splinters and give me treatment and also arrange the room for longer so I could rest. This warmth will definitely make us repeat customers.

A friend and I went to visit my daughter in Florence while she was on her semester abroad and we stayed at this hotel. The service was beyond nice, they were super helpful with anything you need, from taxis to printing boarding passes. After we left the hotel back to USA, they still help my daughter with any printing or taxi help she needed while she was in Florence. If I ever go back to Florence, which I am hoping to go there soon, I will definitely stay at this beautiful place. Also it has a great location as it is close to anything you might need in Florence (restaurants, train station museums etc.) I highly recommend this place.

We spent four wonderful nights in Florence and were overall happy with choosing Grand Amore Hotel and Spa as the location is fantastic. The pros, its very central (as other have mentioned), which gave us the option to wander all over town, pop back into the room to refresh and head back out again. The room is spacious (compared to our other Paris hotel) with high ceilings and a large king size bed. Staff were also amazing, they were all very friendly, professional and helpful. Housekeeping also did a wonderful job daily. A consideration and con, one I wish I had known earlier was that there would be no AC available during our early April stay as we prefer a room that is not warm with circulating air. We were informed that until the weather got hotter, the only option was to open the window. Which was fine during the day, but at night, the noise on the streets were incredibly loud and not ideal. Our only solution was to leave the window open in the bathroom (furthest away from us) and close the one directly near the bed. Thankfully, we are both good sleepers, so it wasn't too much of a bother at the end the day. Another hiccup encountered was that during our check-in, we were told directly that breakfast was included in our package. In hindsight, I should have double checked my reservation (instead of accepting it) as there was a surprise bill during check-out as we were told us in error. Overall, the pros made up for some of the inconveniences and I would still rate it as a solid boutique hotel in a convenient neighborhood with lots of things to do, see and enjoy.

Grand Amore hotel is the perfect spot to base your visit to Florence. The location can't be beat- close to the Duomo, train station, cafe, bars, and restaurants! It is in a very safe area where we felt comfortable walking around any time of night (as sisters traveling together this is very important to us!) The room was incredibly quiet given the location and spacious and comfortable. The shower has great water pressure (and it was nice to have a good blowdryer to use!). The best part of the hotel though is the staff- who gave us amazing recommendations, booked reservations for us, called taxis and immediately fixed anything we brought to their attention. Can't wait to be back and stay here again!

This was a quaint and cozy stay, that definitely delivered convenience of location! Things we liked - 1. Location - convenient to get from the main train terminal to/from other cities in Italy. Walking distance from anything you should want and/or need. Restaurants, shops, local sights, pharmacies, wine shops, bars and then some. 2. Safe - walked safely all times of day and night 3. Room was clean, comfy and cozy. A little cold at first, but a little heat adjustment and all was well 4. The staff was great, friendly, accommodating and super helpful 5. There bar downstairs had great Aperol Spritz :-) 6. The spa was very relaxing and offered sauna and Turkish bath services 7. Although on rooms were available for upgrade upon check in, the staff gave me a lower rate on an extra night that I had to extend the stay which was great of them. Things we didn't like so much 1. There was a slight odor upon entry of the room, nothing major but definitely not super pleasant. (note we didn't even notify the hotel, it was minor) 2. The doors to the rooms were heavy and banged so aggressively loud, it was very disturbing especially when folks were in and out while we were sleeping. 3. The rooms are not soundproof so you could hear the noise of other hotel guests. Overall it was a very pleasant stay! I will stay there again!

This hotel is truly wonderful. It feels small and cosy, but with the level of service of a grand hotel, it really has the best of both worlds. The rooms are charming and elegantly decorated, with luxurious furnishings, bed and bathrooms. There’s a speaker with relaxing piano music directly in your room if you want to chill- it really gives you that soothing spa feeling! The breakfast was great, but the best thing about this hotel is really the service. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but Laura from reception was really out of this world. She has all kinds of tips of what to do or where to eat, can help you with reservations, and really makes you feel at home. I would definitely recommend to stay here when visiting Florence. Just a couple of minutes away from the Duomo it’s a perfect place to stay in the heart of the city.

We enjoyed every moment spent at this amazing hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The spacious and luxurious room and bathroom were a treat for my family. The location is super comfortable, literally minutes from train station, Santa Maria Del Fiore, and the most beautiful sites in the city. I look forward to staying there again next time I visit!

We recently stayed at the Grand Amore on our first trip to Italy and we love every second! From check-in to check-out, everything was fabulous. We loved the bar in the lobby with the croissants and coffee in the morning. Our room was so comfortable, romantic, clean, and beautiful. The staff was absolutely excellent as well. Tili and Florence were so sweet and gave us a lot of great suggestions of things to do while we were in Florence. Tili also got us reservations for an incredible cooking class and when we decided to extend our stay was able to get us a room at you sister property, Be-ONE (which we also loved). We can’t wait to return and stay with you again on our next trip to Florence. Thank you!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Located right in the hustle and bustle of the city you can walk, walk and walk everywhere. There are only 11 rooms. The room was a nice size with a comfortable bed and larger bathroom. The staff were all friendly, professional and kind. They will provide spa services when requested. We had massages on Christmas which were wonderful! Their recommendations for restaurants were on target. They handled our museum reservations and any questions efficiently.
