This hotel is as beautiful as all the photos display. The location is perfection! I found it here on Trip Advisor after going thru dozens of hotel reviews and am thankful we chose it. They have one of the most helpful staffs we encountered. Alessia went above and beyond to help us with our restaurant choices (listen to her!). They booked our wonderful day trip to Tuscany as well. Perfect. The rooms are modern and spotless. The views from the rooftop pool will give you the best photos. We opted for the breakfast because we are lazy, and it's better than running out in the morning but there are lots of restaurants in the plaza. Don't miss out on this hotel!
Hotel room was nothing like the picture and we did not have any draws or cupboard space for cloths and as for a 4 star hotel I think a bottle of water in the room is a given , the roof bar was ok bit small however only waiter service we ask for house wine end up being charged £60 a bottle ,
We booked by chance and we were really lucky with our selection. The hotel is perfectly located. The interior designer is genius. Super clean and the best staff ever. Do not miss the sunset on the roof bar. Spectacular and offers you the best view of downtown Florence.
Beautiful, well maintained hotel with a warm and friendly staff. Alessia and Serena took such good care of us, upgrading us to the perfect room. The bellmen were great, always there to help. The entire staff was adept at anticipating our needs, even before we knew what we needed. Our rooms were really nice, old school European class and luxury. One of the best hotel bars too, they actually stayed open until their closing hours. We’ve been to so many hotels where the bar closes early or when they’re slow. Dariush was like our personal bartender, he knew our drinks and made them perfectly each time. Great location too, maybe a five minute walk from the train station. Can’t recommend them enough.
This was undoubtedly the worst hotel we stayed at in all of Europe, which included France, Switzerland and Italy. We went in the middle of April and they had the heat on in the room, and no working air conditioning. The windows didn't open and it was over 80 degrees (F) in our room. The hotel lobby and Restaurant were cool and AC was working there. When we complained to the front desk they told us that they have not turned on the AC in the hotel yet, but they offered to turn off the heat in our room and provide us with small fans, both of which we accepted. I guess by turning off the flow of the heat, the vents had no circulation and the mosquitoes flowed freely from the vents. We spent 3 horrible nights disgustingly hot, fending off mosquitoes and listening to loud clicking fans. We would loved to change hotels but they are all booked. We left drained, bitten by Mosquitoes (see photos) and tired from the sound of the fans (see photos). I will say that when we complained upon leaving, they credited us $100 EU for a dinner we had, but the three nights still cost us almost $2,000 EU. You could not pay me to stay here again.…
