I spent two nights here. Located in the heart of tourist Florence, it is incredibly convenient. The rooms were adequate although a little old with no AC available. The view was incredible. Looked right out onto the Duomo. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and selection was large.
This Hotel is all about location. It is centrally located but extremely noisy. Could still hear street noise with earplugs at 3AM. The rooms and bathrooms are quite adequate and nice (we had Duomo view) but the breakfast and amenities are lacking. The staff is helpful when asked. That is it.
Our family stayed two nights for Christmas with our kids. Had a great view from the room of the Duomo. Room was very clean and had a great layout to maximize space for four. Location could not be better, we were within walking distance (about 15 minutes at most) from all major attractions. Most were within 5 minutes walking. Hotel is taking precautions for Covid-19. Staff was great! Christmas Day the staff were so kind and in great spirits. Best breakfast in Italy (and great coffee too)! Thank you everyone for making our stay wonderful!
A friend and I stayed here for one night before a big biking trip in Tuscany. Location is in the center of it all and can not be beat! The front desk staff also so nice and accommodating to us crazy jet lagged travelers. The front desk team was really helpful in suggesting places for us to grab some dinner and getting us a taxi very early the next morning. Room was nice, appropriately put together and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom is TINY TINY TINY but as expected. The bath samples were nice - lotions, etc. Breakfast was great as well, something to keep in mind - it is not serve yourself so you want to be sure you get there in time to potentially stand in line. Also if you are on your way out - don't bring your luggage to breakfast, not enough room and it is quick enough to get back to your room before you head out. Great stay, highly recommend, in the heart of it all!…
Outstanding location, at mid-distance from Palazzo Vecchio and the Duomo, in the middle of a labyrinth of narrow streets, with hundreds of pleasant shops (local manufacture as well as luxury products) and excellent restaurants, with a wide range of prices and dishes. In addition, very professional and nice/smiling/effective staff, and rooms well fitted and quite relaxing (probably the rooms giving on Calzauoli street are to be avoided, when those opening on the internal yard are to be priviledged). Thank you for our two remarkable stays.
