We stayed in early May, they staff were excellent and provided excellent recommendations and service throughout our stay. The room was excellent with an excellent view and spacious. Yuri was exceptionally helpful to my wife and I throughout our stay, the knowledge, care and assistance provided was excellent.
we went to the bar for having a drink and the service was a disaster. We have been waiting for a waiter 10 minutes, were serviced with warm sparkling water and low knowledge about the chosen bottle of white wine. after a desperate talk with the bar tender we were informed that due to Covid problems the bat was understaffed. This should not happen in St Regis
As the great Renaissance poets of yesteryear espoused, “If only to be young and in love in the St Regis in Florence.” And indeed, it is true. We visited the St Regis at the start of our honeymoon in this great country and I cannot fathom a better landing spot. We enjoyed rest and luxury in this beautiful hotel from the get/go. The rooms were personally designed and built by Michelangelo in his later years. Ok, maybe not, but they do feel regal and dignified, and you can look out and see the bridges Michelangelo designed from your window overlooking the river. And that is real. The staff was wonderful. The concierge helped with all our reservations and planning. The “butlers” brought a freshly made French press of coffee to our room every morning. And the location is absolutely perfect to access the main parts of town, museums, and the squares, without being right in the thick of the crowds and noise. I’m also going to buy their mattress because I’ve never slept so well. Was it all dream? Or is this the dream… and the St Regis is the only thing that’s real?…
An incredible hotel. Amazing service and exquisitely elegant. Thank you. Such an incredible city. Greatly enjoyed by me, my partner and two adult daughters. We could not find fault with the hotel or service and will certainly be returning
This is a truly stunning property. We found the staff to be extremely accommodating. The breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed a great room overlooking the Arno above the waterfall. Highly recommend if in Florence. Only challenge was that we found the restaurant Matre De' a bit stand offish and opted not to dine in the hotel given the breadth of options in Florence.
