We stayed for 4 nights in Covid times. The hotel staff tried it's best to serve its clients at a high level. This hotel is an excellent choice in Firenze, considering also the great location. We enjoyed it a lot. Only thing: the rooms are good, but ours had no view and was not what I would expect from 5 stars (but it was definitely on 4 star level). Overall a great choice.
We had a lovely stay thanks to the excellent staff who were constantly professional and friendly. A lovely small spa and very clean facilities topped off a lovely stay. Convenient consierge. Mattress was a little too hard but I would stay again.
What a pleasure to stay here - our first break after a long lock down. This superb hotel and beautiful Florence on our doorstep made it memorable. The staff in the restaurant were superb, professional and accommodating. A lovely spa too. Definitely reccomended.
We came by car in January 21. Price was 180.-/night. Tuscany was yellow zone by that time. Valet parking worked perfect. The ride into the heart of florence was awesome. As we came a little earlier as check-in time, we left our luggage at the hotel. Nice front desk agent. Surprisingly there was no locker room so our luggage + drone was kept on the floor in front of the reception which seamed a little unprotected. The bell boy brought everything to our room while we were shopping outside. Very nice standard room. As in historic city centre no view but that was not an issue. Spotlessly clean room and huge (!) bed. We were allowed to have the spa for 1 hour. Spa was a must for us which wasn't easy to find in city centre hotels. As it was covid time we had it for us exclusively which is a fantastic experience. Its open from 3pm to 8pm. So no morning bath, but under the hard circumstances for the hotel industry we were happy to have it. It gets cleaned and floor wiped & dried after every guest. Beside the pool with different massage jets and a waterfall you have sauna and two aroma showers! Great experience. A little anoing was another receptionist who had trouble finding a restaurant table for us and rather wanted to show possible places on a map instead. As in this time restaurants close for indoor dining between 3 - and 6pm this was the only point I didn't find 5* hotel-like. Breakfast buffet had a rich choice and servants were really nice. Perfect place for low season…
Florence was empty due to Covid and we got a very good deal for a two-night stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, spa was excellent, scrambled egg at breakfast amongst the best I’ve ever had, and you can walk to everything and everywhere you might want to visit from what is a superb location. Room was not vast but cosy and welcoming. Highly recommended.
