We stayed at Plus Florence from April 27 to May 2nd 2022. The first surprise came when we entered the room we had booked. Upon entering the room this was like an oven. The room did not have air conditioning because, as we were told, the scheduled seasonal maintenance had not yet taken place. In addition, there were several dead mosquitoes on the walls, which had not been cleaned. When we asked for a room change we were told that this was one of their best rooms because it overlooked part of the cathedral. They accepted our complaints and changed our room. Here the second surprise was waiting for us. We could not sleep at night even with earplugs because the hotel was flooded with traveling students, who gathered every night in front of the hotel entrance and had fun, without any intervention from the hotel staff. The problem was exacerbated by an irish pub that was also opposite the entrance and was a disaster until the early hours of the morning. When I desperately went and told them the problem they made fun of me by telling me that I am asking for a change a second time and they do not have a room available. After that our stay was a nightmare, we waited for the five days of our stay to pass, we were constantly tired and did not enjoy our vacation in this incredibly beautiful city. Excellent hostel, super clean, super secure and modern and the receptionists are super nice !! It is close to the main attractions and to the train station. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Florence !

The male guys could have been more willing to help and to be friendly, especially when I asked for help. It was a frustration the help I needed to use the laundry, I had to wait for really long and to go back there to ask where the guy who was going there to help me was, and when he finally came, he treated me like I was a dumb. Indeed, the machine had plenty of options and it was not clear how to set it. I basically had to beg him to help me. Other hostels in Italy had their kitchens open as normal, but when I asked for clutery, they told me there weren't available. At the check out I was told I could have bought a set of clutery, I could have been told before. I'm not picky, but it could definitely be better.

The hostel had a lot of potential, but I wish they would of mentioned that most of their facilities are closed due to Covid. Considering this is a hostel most people book to congregate with other people and use the public facilities the hotel has to offer which are moatly closed or not allowed. Very disappointed with this stay. Would not of booked it with everything being closed in the hostel.

Find another place, the staff and guards are violent. One night a guard came to our room and told us to turn down the music. Because of the fact that it was already low, i was unsatifyed and said “Jesus Christ” but turned down the music anyways. The guard became mad because of what i said and hit me in the stomach. The rest of the staff didn’t believe me and told me to shut up. Worst service i have ever experienced. Don’t stay here!!!
