We stayed in this hotel for a couple of days. On average, it was a good experience, but we can focus on some missing points. 1) As you arrive in front of the hotel, you find stairs. It is ok if you can walk or you don't bring a heavy suitcase. I wonder if there is another door for disabled people or if you have baggage. When we left the properties, nobody suggested using another door, hence I believe there is only one entrance that is not suitable for everybody. 2) The breakfast room is big and waiters/waitresses are able to enforce anti-COVID-19 rules, for example, to wear gloves to take food from the buffet. However, if you want pasticciotti or a cappuccino or a good coffee you have to ask for it. In my opinion, the staff should inform guests about this option. It is not fair some customers can get this extra stuff (for free). 3) The staff was ok, even if the reception was not able to provide us with clear information and was a little messy when we arrived. 4) The location is convenient. It is close to the waterfront (5 mins), to the city center (10 mins to almost all main venues and restaurants), to the train station (around 12 mins), and close to the airport bus stop (5 mins).

Excellent location for our only weekend spent in Brindisi before leaving! Comfy rooms and kind staff. Very good experience! I really appreciated the fact that you are literally a 5 minutes walk from everything in the city centre. Highly recommend it.

A very pleasant comfortable hotel with helpful staff and a great location. We walked from the train station, about 20 min on level sidewalk, and we were within a couple of blocks of the waterfront area. It is a port city but the working dock area does not interfere with the lovely lungomare. The room was adequate with space to open suitcases and the typical amenities. Wifi was weak until we mentioned it to reception and he rebooted the system...then it was very good. Breakfast buffet was served in a lovely room with a great varienty. If you prefer a special coffee, simply order it from the staff...no charge. We were pleased with the hotel and would stay again if we return.

Room Tip: We requested a quiet room and had one facing the rear which was quiet but no view.

While located near the port, having indoor parking, a comfortable bed, Hotel Orientale should be considered a 3 star hotel. Our room was not ready until 5:30 with no apology, which is not what you want to hear after a day of travelling. When we finally had our room, the toilet did not function properly. We were assigned another room which had a view of nothing really. And the rooms are not sound proof as we can hear people in the hallway, noise from other rooms including toilets flushing. Oh and the safe did not work properly. Thankfully it was only for one night!

We have family in Brindisi, so every time we visit Brindisi, we stay at hotel orientale. It never disappoint me. Staffs are welcoming and friendly. Rooms are clean. Staffs do bed-making and changing towels everyday as expected. Wi-fi connection is excellent. Breakfast is good. It serves fresh drinks such as orange juice squeezed from real orange. It is pleasant place to stay.
