We spent 2 nights here during June heatwave. Helpful lady host who speaks English quite well. Clean, air con working well. Free wifi working. Pleasant breakfast and service but the breakfast is not included in hotel price. 6 minute walk to Piazza Bra and Arena. Rooms fine if small, ensuite bathroom fine. No lift to our first floor rooms but staff available to take case upstairs. I'd advise inquiring if there is a lift to rooms in other parts of the hotel. Handrail all the way up the stairs would be good. Quiet side street so no problem with noise. Some car parking available behind secure locked gate. Need to book that in advance. Expensive for 2 star hotel (at that price I would have expected the breakfast to be included) but would probably stay there again for its quiet central location, good breakfast, and delightful quiet restaurant a couple of doors along.

The room was nice and clean but relatively small. The location is really good close to the Arena and Piazza Bra. The immediate surroundings are quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Maybe best if you don't arrrive by car.

We stayed here two nights for a citytrip to verona. The location of the hotel is perfect. Everything in old Verona is at walking distance. Castel Vecchio is less than a minute, The Arena takes you only two minutes. Rooms are rather basic and old fashioned, but crisp clean and relatively quiet when you consider that you are in the heart of a city. The biggest plus of the hotel: They have closed private parking spots. See attached image. The hotel is located in a local traffic only area but as a hotel guest you have admission to the area. We could park our car full with holiday luggage here for two days without any safety concern at a cost of 20 euro/day.

Location - excellent. So close to the Arena and within walking distance to Piazza Erbe and the train station. Lots of shops, restaurants and cafes very close. Staff - the main lady spoke English quite well. She was out for coffee when we arrived so the colleague phoned her and we were given our key and he helped take mums suitcase up as there is no lift. Room - you have to remember this is a 2 star hotel. There were no luxuries but it was very clean. There were no spare pillows in the room. It was also fairly warm. We had to ask reception for the tv remote but this was no issue. Wifi - there is none. Breakfast was not included. For a 2 star hotel, its clean tidy and comfortable and the location is excellent. Why the mediocre rating? Simply based on price - I would happily give a higher rating if it wasn't so expensive!!

Mmmmm frustrated. Location fantastic, booking in and out fantastic but ... and a big but ... service was very poor for the price. At €150 per night I expected a bit more for my money. The aircon did not work, I did not even have an aircon controller, there was no safe in the room and when I asked for an iron they gave me an excuse that it throws the electricity. The room was worth €50 per night, at this price I would have given many more stars. But at the actual price the hotel just achieves 1 star. Shame.
