The B & B Piazza Erbe casapiu born after the experience of B & B casapiu which is located in the hills of Lake Garda on the Verona side and creates a refined and welcoming
A friend and I stayed at CasaPiu to celebrate a birthday. We arrived to a friendly welcome from Marco and Moreno, and were later to meet their very cute dog Leo who was lovely. The accommodation was centrally located, spotlessly clean, and our room had a great view, we both found the beds comfortable and slept really well. We shared the bathroom with the owners which was no problem. The room was right next to the kitchen area so you could hear people pottering about in the morning but it really didn't bother us. The breakfast was excellent, a good choice of cereals, eggs, fruit, yoghurts etc, toaster and excellent coffee machine. What made our stay so good was the friendliness of the owners, they gave us loads of useful information about where to visit and which restaurants were the best, it really was like home from home. Would definitely stay there again, great stay, beautiful city and perfect accommodation.…

Arrived 4 hours later than the check in time but that wasn’t a problem as the hosts waited up for us and were extremely welcoming from the moment we were through the door! We were greeted by their cute little dog too which was a lovely surprise and definitely heightened our mood after a long day of travelling. Marco and Moreno were perfect everyday with many suggestions on where to go and what to do at a good price, even if it wasn’t in Verona (we went on a day trip to Venice for example), for the whole trip. Every morning, breakfast was more than enough to keep us going with a wide, continental selection. Our room was a shared bathroom which was not a problem at all as it was right next to us anyway. The location is honestly perfect as it’s in the heart of the city, near all of the sites. It was comfortable in every way and we honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough! Will hopefully be back in the future!! …

We booked this place months ago on Hotels.com. The day of arrival, while driving from Breschia, at 15:50 we received a phone call from Marco telling us we had to arrive by 16:00 in order to be admitted. We were an hour away. No accommodation was made and Marco said tough luck, he was keeping our full prepayment and we could not stay there. In fifty years of travelling and a career in the hotel business, this astounded me. Hotels.com was contacted and they phoned Marco with the same result. Hotels.com refunded our money, thankfully. Why this place is listed by reputable hotel sites is a mystery.

We stayed at Casapiu for two nights to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The price was fantastic and significantly cheaper than hotels in the area. I emailed a question about the room prior to booking and received a very prompt and helpful response. Once we arrived Marco and Moreno proved themselves to be excellent hosts. They were friendly, welcoming, gave us loads of useful information about where to eat, things to see etc. and they allowed me to try out my Italian but they were ready to switch to very good English when I started to struggle. Most importantly, we got to meet Leo the dog! Our room was very clean and comfortable and the shared bathroom was exceptionally clean. There was no noise from within the B&B allowing for a relaxing night's sleep. We'll certainly be recommending Casapiu to anyone we know who is travelling to Verona.…

We chose Verona to be our base and this B&B is fantastic. Marco and Moreno are great hosts, they gave us plenty of tips and recomendations for our holiday. The location is great for Verona sights as its not far from the Arena or Romeo and Juliet's Balcony.

We stayed here as a family of 4 including 2 teenage daughters. We had a room with a double and a single, with an adjoining room with a single. We LOVED staying here. The location is outstanding, steps away from Juliet's balcony but overlooking a peaceful square with views of the castle. The guys that run the place were super friendly and the place itself was very high quality with lots of nice decor. We especially loved the shower. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely place.

Marco was the best! My husband and I had a blast staying at Casapiu! Very clean and filled with a great selection food. If you are lucky you get to meet Leo!!! Overall 5 stars because of the location and the price! Thanks for the hospitality and the love.

We stayed here the last two nights for the start of our trip to Italy. The double room with private bathroom was basic but very clean and tidy with a great powerful shower and hairdryer too which was useful to have. Breakfast was ample to set you up for the day, cereals, toast, eggs, yoghurts and pastries as well as tea and coffee. The host was very friendly and although we didn't really speak Italian she helped us as much as she could. As per other reviews there are a LOT of stairs to climb to get to the B&B this was difficult when we first arrived with all our bags/cases, however, once offloaded they weren't really a problem. The accommodation is right next to Piazza Del Erbe and everything is within walking distance, I would definitely recommend this place and stay again

Located right in the heart of the action! The stairs were a killer, but staying in the ancient city is why we went to Verona. Good breakfast. All sites are within walking distance. I recommend this place for young, healthy people who want the full vibe of this wonderful city.
