Highly recommend this place. Upon booking it I had researched all over Venice and landed on this place. Perfect location to access from station whilst being nestled amongst a beautiful outlook. Welcoming and obliging staff, glorious breakfast room and food and wifi that works !...More
With only one bridge to cross with luggage both from the airport and to the cruise ship, the location was ideal! Staff was friendly and room was small but clean. They also let us store our luggage while we toured Venice the morning of our...More
Great little hotel especially for cruisers. It is walking distance from the main parking lot. It is neat and clean and has obviously refurbished its rooms. (Mine was (small but) amazing!) Breakfast was more than adequate. Staff very caring and everything you need is only...More
So glad we stayed in this quaint, charming hotel. It's location is so convenient pre and post cruise. We took the ATVO bus that brought us to Piazzale Roma, and Hotel Arlechinno was just a stone throw away from the bus terminal, about 3 minutes...More
A friendly staff, a wonderful canal-view room, and we found the bed firm and comfortable! Francesco steered us to good restaurants. Breakfast was a bargain at 3€ pp. the location is ideal—short walk to Water bus, train station and Piazza Roma. We will definitely stay...More

Artsy is the defining mood of this neighborhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighborhood to the east. Gondolas bob
in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbors exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.

We were also there before boarding a cruise and we had been in Europe for a week already. It was over Easter weekend so the hotel laundry services were not available but I believe they were as expensive as it would be to have them laundered on the cruise ship. We went to the Orange laundromat in Santa Croce which is across the Scalzi bridge from Venice Santa Lucia Railroad Station- really close to the hotel. It is a self-serve laundry but we were able to do our laundry while having dinner outside at the cafe next door (while watching our laundry). It was perfect. It was approximately $7-$10 per load to wash and something similar to dry but we were able to do everything in one load. Happy travels!
I would e-mail the hotel and ask what is necessary first. They are VERY helpful! I used the blow dryer in the room and we had our adaptors for the phones. I just cannot remember which ones we used as we travel quite a bit... More
I would e-mail the hotel and ask what is necessary first. They are VERY helpful! I used the blow dryer in the room and we had our adaptors for the phones. I just cannot remember which ones we used as we travel quite a bit and have several different ones we use. Good luck.
