This hotel was in a good location for the cruise terminal. The desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. The breakfast was good and plenty was provided.
The room was surprisingly large. We had a double bed and two twins...More
Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The location was great. We enjoyed our stay in Venice as we are very close to the grand canal. Did a lot of walking, so have q good pair of runners or walking shoes. Buffet breakfast was great,...More
A good choice for location to buses ,cruise and rain stations. Very pleased we only had 3 small bridges to carry our luggage. Pleasently suprised as we found a nice quite sleep. No problem leaving the bags an extra half day before the cruise.
Good hotel in an ideal location to get to from Marco Polo Airport or the Cruise Terminal. Staff friendly enough and helpful, very comfortable bed and quiet rooms. Away from clutter of San Marco but near many Vaporetto routes.
We picked this hotel at first because it was the first one we saw getting off the bus at the bus station directly opposite. Great location next to bus/train stations and easy to gain access to centre of Venice. Rooms are all decorated in baroque/Venetian...More

Artsy is the defining mood of this neighborhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighborhood to the east. Gondolas bob
in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbors exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.

We were also there before boarding a cruise and we had been in Europe for a week already. It was over Easter weekend so the hotel laundry services were not available but I believe they were as expensive as it would be to have them laundered on the cruise ship. We went to the Orange laundromat in Santa Croce which is across the Scalzi bridge from Venice Santa Lucia Railroad Station- really close to the hotel. It is a self-serve laundry but we were able to do our laundry while having dinner outside at the cafe next door (while watching our laundry). It was perfect. It was approximately $7-$10 per load to wash and something similar to dry but we were able to do everything in one load. Happy travels!
I would e-mail the hotel and ask what is necessary first. They are VERY helpful! I used the blow dryer in the room and we had our adaptors for the phones. I just cannot remember which ones we used as we travel quite a bit... More
I would e-mail the hotel and ask what is necessary first. They are VERY helpful! I used the blow dryer in the room and we had our adaptors for the phones. I just cannot remember which ones we used as we travel quite a bit and have several different ones we use. Good luck.
