Hotel across from the train station in an iffy area. Drug dealers, homeless sleeping in the street and urinated walls at the entrance. The staff was very nice but this hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. My room bathroom was tiny. I could hardly move around! The shower was miniature with broken doors, mold and simply disgusting. I didn't even sleep in the bed. Changed my train to depart as early as possible.Frigobar was empty. Awful dim lighting. Underneath the bathroom sink was disgusting. Will never go near this place ever again!!!!!
Had a good feeling about this place from internet. Was better than I thought.Good price for a very nice clean, modern hotel. The old skinny guy at breakfast made the best ever cappuccino! Master barista.Grazie to the helpful staff,Lorenzo who was just the best.Cute little balcony on room.
This hotel, classic old-European, was a comfortable experience. With the areas around train stations, in big cities, being typically quite colorful (especially at night) Turin’s relaxed atmosphere allows for relative safety at night. (Though you have to be careful everywhere in the world anyway.) My room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and I could njoy a quiet rest at night. The receptionist is a sweetie who speaks English and was very helpful. It’s two blocks from the pedestrian shopping area, within walking distance of a multiple of musea, and just 150 metres from the tourist busstop - if you want to have an overview first. The city is beautiful, elegant, and with a nice easy flow. I’ve been to many Italian cities in the past, but this one stole my heart!
This is a family run hotel close to the Porta Nuova station, which is a terminal station for regional trains for the city. Attention, this station is not the TGV station for the train from Lyon to Milan, which stops at the Porta Susa station, which is 1,5km away. THe staff are friendly and rooms are clean but very basic -they even lack a refrigerator. I noticed many Italian railway staff stay at this hotel. OK, but personally but will look elsewhere next time.
Old style decorated hotel but very clean and no carpets! The manager is very nice and accommodating. There is normally a parking but it was full and we could get another one close by. Breakfast is included and was ok. Nice staff. Clearly a very good option for lower budget.
