We spent 1 night on the way back from Milan. What a contrast from the Ibis Styles in Milan!!! Great location. The staff was helpful but not enough of them for such a huge hôtel. It urgently needs refurbishing as the carnets are tired, the towels too. The tissus dispenser had not been refilled in our room. The plastic bathtub and shower was damages and not so clean (we found hair...). The black-out certains are plastic and there were suspect stairs on the bedroom carpet. One feet of the chair was missing. Not what you'd expect from à 4 star... The bar is too small & badly located. The buffet dinner didn’t look appetizing. Let's not talk about the size of the swimming pool, which is tiny & where you cannot swimming as such. Hotel has Great potential though so needs to be redesigned. I didn’t report the issues as the staff was already running around & to be honest, I didn’t have the time. You can park your car for 5€/day within the hotel gates or you can park on the road, which is very quiet.

We liked the hotel, the rooms, bedsand the staff were pleasant. We liked the location on the outskirts, so easily accessible from the motorways. We bought all day or 2-day tickets and travelled into town and around the city by tram. Easier than driving and good value. The breakfast would have been fine except that it takes far too long to serve and helpings range from enormous to minimal. What about a buffet to speed things up?

I think overall it was a good stay, I don't really have anything major to complain. However, I do think that the hotel is due for renovation. Our room also had a slight smell but we opened the window overnight and it's gone. WiFi also had some connection issue but the receptionist gave us a coupon and no problem ever since.

Property needs urgent renewal: Curtain in shower are not acceptable in a 4* NOVOTEL, Sink an particular and the whole bathroom is old style! Breakfast is IBIS level comparable and this is not expected in NOVOTEL: JAms in dispensers, most of time empty, personnel not engaged and happy to work (except one lady) , a lot of cups are not perfectly clean, you are often pushed to leave room when breakfast end time is approaching. At reception you are not always finding professional and nice people, with come exceptions. Rest of personnel seems moving around with not exact tasks to execute

This was supposed to be an overnight stop on the way from Italian lakes to France, and Novotel, close to the highway, appeared to be a good choice. Alas, at check in I was not given a requested high floor. as the hotel was fully booked. The receptionist told me there was no way to assist me, much as I have a frequent guest status with Accorhotels, and certainly not able or willing to provide regular room upgrade. After I've asked for a manager to phone me when I get to my room, a top floor room all of a sudden became available, but I was too tired after a long drive, and, as I was assured this was a "renovated floor" hopeful the room will be nice, but it turned out that it was tired, in quite bad condition, damaged furniture and quite pathetic condition of the bathroom. it turned out that it was the floor that was renovated, not the rooms, which was a bit difficult to understand as I was not planning to spend the night in the corridors. The bed was comfortable, choice of TV channels good and internet reasonably reliable and fast. The air-conditioning was loud and inefficient, bathroom and shower hardly functional. Even for a short overnight stay it was not a very pleasant place to stay though low floor and proximity of busy roads mean lots of noise.

Dear guest, Unfortunately, as he indicated, it was not possible to follow up on his preferences, as the hotel was fully booked. The benefits provided by your member card are subject to availability, with the exception of the welcome drink that was delivered to you regularly. Unfortunately, although the receptionist told her that she could make a room change on the upper floor but this required waiting, she refused to change, after the telephone call with the manager the receptionist called her to the room and he refused the change again. We also want to clarify that the room that would have been assigned as a change was actually assigned to a Platinum level customer, who kindly granted us the change. We assigned her a room on the second floor, the last floor renovated in terms of corridor carpet and painting walls. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. I give you the chance to earn your trust, I can assure you that we will be the best to give you the best hotel experience so many of our guests have grown. Sincerely
